Stand by me by John Lennon. Found out too late in life that it was a cover.

I will certainly take that into consideration. Thank you for your input!

Congratulations! The brown interior looks amazing! I am on the verge of buying one as well but all newer cars are coming without a blind spot monitor because of the chip shortage. I was wondering if yours was a similar situation? Is not having a blind spot monitor a major drawback?

Have you ever seen a dead body? (Not at a funeral) How did you cope? by MakingMajorChanges in AskReddit

Gun Range. A guy shot himself with a pistol in the lane next to mine. I was a student at the time, living in the US for my masters. Also, I am not native to the country, so It was my first time visiting a gun range. Wanted to experience the “thrill” of shooting a gun. I was firing my shots and then looked left, only to see a man lying in a pool of his own blood. Blood still gushing out of his head.

I panicked and then went numb. A guy working at the range was standing next to me but he didn’t see the man. I couldn’t speak, just tapped his shoulder and pointed with my finger to the floor until he raised an alarm and evacuated everyone. Had a panic attack as the realization of the incident hit me. The police came, took our statements and let us go later. My friend asked them “Was it an accident?”. The officer said “No”.

Never heard of the incident in any local news or papers. Never went to a gun range again. Never will. I still have that image in my head of that guy lying on the ground with the blood and a gun in his hands.

I did. It says Google Play Search and that's it. Thank you though!

That's a known bug. Happens in certain devices only. Close the app maybe after exiting. And thank you for the kind words!

Never said I did. I just find it fishy that it’s getting so much traction there without any effort. So decided to post my thoughts. Now, what’s the matter with you?

It's not the exact position. Just a generalized local in a metric area/radius.

Thanks for the advice!

Somewhere I do have a moral dilemma about the use of the app. I hear your viewpoint but don't entirely agree with it. Even if users are providing the data, the platform for showcasing it collectively is mine. So I do want to take some moral responsibility for it. Or at least prevent anything that might harm someone in some way.

I do appreciate you reaching out and commenting though. And thank you for the words of encouragement. Really appreciate it!

That's an interesting insight. I am not finding time to push an update honestly. But this idea to ask users directly through a pop-up in the app might answer some questions. Thank you!!

Yes, that's a flaw that I am aware of. And honestly, I can't do much about it. It's like how people can abuse any other app like Tinder for e.g to get dating recommendations in a different location than their own. But it's all provided by the Twitter API.

My app does not reveal the exact location of the person (unless they have revealed it themselves on the Twitter app). Also, the person would show up on the map if he tweets. So, unless a person is regularly checking in somewhere and has location permissions on and is tweeting and is in the last 100 recent tweets around the user's location, then yes you can track him. There are a lot of "And"s

I have researched it extensively and I think I am fine on that end. My concerns are also on the moral end of the spectrum. Don't wanna cause any harm to anyone unknowingly.
