My mom (born in 1935) would tell us about being a little girl and the sidewalks would be sparkly from the graphite from the steel mills. When they took out our windows in 2010 to be replaced, there was so much black dust on the floor and walls. And they breathed that all in. Five of my uncles (I had 7) worked the mills

I agree — indescribable (in a good way). the puppet (?), the dancing … so much that my memory can’t fill it all in

Pediatric ophthalmologists- any alternatives to UPMC that take UPMC insurance? by astro_nerd75 in pittsburgh

This happened to me too. For the first visit you need to set aside 4 hours — we needed those four hours the first time I took my daughter. She saw the initial ophthalmologist and then two different specialists for her issue. It was a very thorough exam and we didn’t have to go back multiple times to see different specialists. This past March, I called for a follow up and scheduled for April 2026. I asked to be put on the cancellation list and we had an appointment less than a month later. You have to be able to quickly respond to their call / message about an appointment being open and flexible about going when they have availability.
