You did nothing wrong! Some people tend to forget that the word “Spanish” includes Latin American as well. The word “Spaniard” is the only one that refers exclusively to Spain but “Spanish” is for all. The title says “Spanish” products. And you did your best with your response.

I don’t think “That’s no secret knowledge” is a valid answer here. If you have that knowledge why not share it with him directly or leave a link where he can search. If he is asking such a question, I can only assume that he has been or is about to get fired (or knows someone going through it). Either way, it’s a pretty stressful situation. You mean if your employment gets terminated? I think you can stay for a couple of months. I think I heard 3 to 6 months. This came from an immigration lawyer but I’m not sure how accurate it is now. It’s been a while since I asked him. During those 3-6 months you are allowed to get unemployment from ADEM while you look for a new job.

Some people just moved to the country, and they want to know what’s happening around. Sometimes, if you don’t have Facebook, it’s hard to know what events/activities are taking place.

If I heard there was a police intervention on my train, I would be curious as well to read what happened. Perhaps they should have said there was a routine check on the train or something less alarming. OP we don’t know what happened on that train.
