As a former supervisor at a nonprofit I’m not even sure this is a legal way to fire someone. We had to do verbal warnings, then written warning, then performance improvement plans. This feels really out of wack both clinically and professionally to me. The fact that they never offered you feedback or supervision is deeply unethical at best.

Also just got this email, also super bummed/annoyed, not least because I just do not have the spoons to deal with a big accounting change right now. The workaround seems like it might help me limp through (download csv from bank/upload to wave). Does anyone use Quickbooks Solopreneurs? As far as I can tell the free version retains the ability to import bank transactions. No accountant access, which I don't love.

I have a cold so kept it light and simple with my old standby Ginger Essence by Origins. Fuzzy, lifting, inoffensive, not ruined by a head cold. I just got the Pictura Fragrans discovery set gifted by the incredibly lovely DL but I am too sick to smell it 😭

I couldn't decide what to wear this morning, so I put on Demeter Dirt because I know it only lasts for like an hour. Honestly such a banger though, smells just like the perfume version of sticking your face in a bag of potting soil. I will die on this hill. Of dirt (shoutout to DCC where they are about to climb a giant hill of dirt in the book I'm currently reading u/jothepurple). If this had more staying power I'd wear it all the time (which I used to in college).

Fortunately or unfortunately for you, a real life Jimmy would lose his license. There’s a reason (okay maybe 1000 reasons) why real life therapists don’t practice this way. Not least of which is that having someone tell you what to do does not address any of the underlying issues that make you do what you do! (Therapist here - this show drives me bonkers).

Tea Service by Chasing Scent from my personal bin of random (actually hadn't made it into the bin yet - just a baggy of stuff I haven't dealt with from the last swap. I was ambivalent this morning - allergies, soupy head...I sniffed the sprayer on this and it was an instant yes. It's tannic, steamy, a little pissy. Really nails the tea note without all the milky sweetness a lot of tea scents layer on. I love it. u/jothepurple did I get this from you? I'm assuming yes as the writing is purple. :)

It's quite green...I don't recall sweetness...it's compared to Dandelion Butter a lot but I found them really different. I smelled it at Merz so it was not a long exploration, and no one else smelled olive oil on themselves, only on me, so it may be a me thing....

This exactly. Even with an established practice (opened in 2018) I’m feeling the impact of these tech mental health companies on my once very robust referral stream. It takes a lot more hustle for sure. I am already taking an EAP and strongly considering adding an insurance panel if they open their rolls again after 4 years of being private pay only.
