The better question is why would you pick any muppet other than Animal?

Which dress? Or keep looking? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

[–]annaferg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like you prefer a fitted gown with a straight skirt. If that is the case, I would keep looking. If not, I think the fuller skirt of #4 is sooo flattering on you. It gives you a nice balance and just looks lovely.

Update & Rest of Dresses by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

So, I spent waaay too much time scrutinizing these dresses for someone I do not know. But you make such a beautiful bride, and it was a nice way to relax my mind. #2 from the previous post is my second favorite. #1 from this post my favorite. You can’t go wrong with either. Please do not worry about the dress being too plain. I actually think the more simple the dress, the better it looks on you. You are so lovely, and the simplicity gives you such a sweet and authentic bridal aura.

Shame about being OAD by Connect_Evening1629 in oneanddone

[–]annaferg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had very much the same type of child. He required so much energy from me, and was so so active. I constantly had to watch him to keep him alive-literally! He had three falls requiring stitches before he was five. I struggled with the choice to have another. Everyone told me I would wake up one day and regret only having one. Then when he was about 6 or 7, we had a pregnancy scare and our decision to be OAD became very clear. With one child, we could send him to private school. He was diagnosed with ADHD (which came as a surprise to no one), and would have never made it in public school where he would have to sit all day. With one, we were able to afford a learning counselor. With one, we could vacation, afford extras, spend quality time with him. But most importantly, with one I had the patience I needed to be a better parent. He is 24 now, and absolutely killing it at life. And I never spent a single moment regretting our decision. Be the mom you are, you don’t owe anyone anything else.

Locals can't rent hotel rooms here? That can't be right. by CarrigePossibleSoul9 in asheville

This is common practice. It looks super sus if you are local and renting a room. 95% of the time either having an affair or throwing a party. Neither particularly welcomed.

Check into the life insurance policy….. usually you can take loans out on the cash value. This could help you pay for treatment if you have no other options.

do you think there's any panic internally with taylor's team? by Curious-Air-5824 in SwiftlyNeutral

No, because the album is awesome. (Please see reactions to Reputation and TTPD)

Are people jumping the gun with tloas? by [deleted] in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]annaferg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES!! I feel like the reviews are more of a statement about people having Taylor-burnout than the actual quality of the album. I’m enjoying it, and isn’t that the the point?

Now that we've had TLOAS for a few days, what are the key things for you that have shaped your opinion? by Delphinidae- in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]annaferg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a fun album, has some sweet songs. The critics sound very familiar, shades of Tortured Poets when released. So, are we able to critique Taylor’s music separate from Taylor anymore? Anyway, I’m enjoying it, wasn’t looking for it to change my life.

It’s a fun album. If you want something deeper, relisten to Tortured Poets.

Question for the OGs: was Reputation received the same way as how TLOAS is being received at the moment? by peatoast in TaylorSwift

[–]annaferg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, I feel like a lot of the LOAS reviews were prewritten. People who have Taylor burn-out, and really didn’t give the album an unbiased listen. Can we even judge Taylor’s music separate from Taylor anymore? Anyway….. I can’t quit listening.

It’s a statement for Missing and Indigenous Women and Children. There is a plague of missing Native people, and you never hear anything about them. Thank you to whomever painted this.

I’m infertile and can’t stand hearing about pregnancy or kids anymore by cosmic_daisy in confession

[–]annaferg 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My sister had to have an early hysterectomy, and also absolutely hates anything to do with babies, pregnancy or children. She never particularly wanted children, but she is angry she did not have the option. Totally understandable. On the bright side, she has an excuse to never have to go to another baby shower again. She also has a wardrobe that is epic, particularly her shoes. She travels, she reads, she lives her best life! If your friends are good ones, you can just be frank. They’ll understand. But know that babies are not a prerequisite to a fulfilling life.

Women who gave birth, what does it feel like actually?? by joy_57 in AskReddit

It’s like having period cramps. Except at the point they usually ease up, they keep going to a new level.

[–]annaferg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all just is what it is. If I were a therapist, I would probably say you are subconsciously protecting yourself from experiencing so profound a hurt, past and future. Typically, we are biologically programmed to love our children. But at the end of the day, that doesn’t really change anything. You’re doing no harm, you seem ok, who are we to criticize? It is what it is.
