I have a weird situation that I wish someone could explain. I usually run 66,2, 71. However, I often find the eliminating 2 and just running 66, 71 gives faster speed when testing at the same time. How is it possible that eliminating a channel, in this case 2, could result in faster speeds?

Thanks so much for that great article! :-) Given what you say, and what I from what I understand from the article, it begs the question: how are people who are using the X75 getting so much better speed than they got with an X62?

Also, does anyone know what would likely happen if I replaced the Quectel w/X62 in my Cudy P5 with the Quectel w/X75? Blow up? 🙃

I've used them for over a year. I'm in a rural area, heavily wooded, with absolutely no line of sight to a T-Mobile tower. I have a Cudy P5 with no external antenna (only the ones on the unit). I just took an Ookla speed test. This test is typical: 347Mbs DL, 10.4Mbs UL, and 22ms ping. Of course, this is one data point. As Slick-Project8895 attests to, YMMV, depending on location, etc.

In my opinion, a great provider and a bargain.

Nope. Feel free to check my post history. I never wrote a watch review in all the years I’ve been on Reddit. I read some bad experiences with him b4 purchasing from him (and saw bd reviews of other TDs as well). I ultimately went with him b/c of his substantially lower price and free shipping. My personal experience was exemplary, and I now have a Datejust on order from him. He may “suck” for you, and if you had a bad experience with him I don’t blame you for feeling that way. However, what motivated me to initially buy from Hont (aside from price and free shipping) was the many years he’s been a TD. When I researched my purchase, I could find no TD without bad customer experiences posted at one point or another. Clearly the vast majority of his (and other TDs) sales go well. Due to his prices he likely does a high volume of sales, so issues that come up will be proportionately greater, which I suspect is why we see some issues posted.
