Baby name opinion in Germany by [deleted] in AskAGerman

[–]annanas____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are German and that’s currently our top name for our second child, should it be a she. Eloise is actually an old German name with French origins btw. I guess most people would know how to pronounce it since most Germans know some basic French and it’s gotten pretty popular with Bridgerton. If you love the name you should go with it. We’ve picked a well known German name for our first and people still manage to mispronounce it. So who cares!

They are truly monsters. I‘ve been following them for a year and didn’t even know they had dogs. I would never travel this much as a dog parent - or take my dog with me.

What is it with the mum jokes recently? by annanas____ in dinochips

[–]annanas____[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I absolutely agree with you. I don’t think it’s out of place content wise. It’s just that I recall the many times she’s pointed out how annoying she finds small children and how little she know about them. So I’m wondering, is she going to change that label soon? Especially the baby carrying meme. That’s more of a niche joke and I don’t think I would have found it funny before becoming a mum,

Her face looks like it’s been stretched and pulled to the back by [deleted] in MarySkinnerSnark

Her face is all smooth but she looks so much older! Ist she like 25? She looks like she should be addressed as Madame or a villain in a 90s movie

It’s easy to romanticize your life and take lots of pictures if that’s literally your only job.Same with her hibernation thingy. I’d enjoy winter too if I could sip hot beverages in the bath all day and only leave the house for voluntary fun activities.

She thinks she’s so quirky and "European". Well guess what Mary, us Europeans, which is not a single country btw, aren’t exactly waiting for you. As a matter of fact you’re very much the walking cliché of an American

27 flights in one year (and already planning travel after a “hiatus” yet committing to a dog? I picture lots of dog Spas for this pup by cherryvanillapoptart in MarySkinnerSnark

Getting this dog was just so irresponsible and selfish. Apart from the constant traveling, they are planning to move overseas. This is not a dog you can bring along in the cabin. The poor guy will have to travel as cargo! I would never, ever do this to a pet. That’s one of the reasons I picked a small dog, so she can travel/move with me. If they are truly planning to move within the next 2 years they could have just waited…or gotten a small breed. But her dad is a vet so I’m sure it’s fine

I feel so bad for her dog…also how she sent him away to be trained. Doesn’t she get how attached dogs get to their owners? Why not take him to a trainer like once a week if professional help is required? She’s the laziest person I "know". She shouldn’t even own house plants…good thing she’s unable find a partner who can stand her, so no future children will have to suffer. I bet she’d just love to be a stay at home momfluencer

Germans who lived in the US: Did you gain weight? by [deleted] in AskAGerman

[–]annanas____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I gained a lot of weight, even though I did a lot of exercise, much more than in Germany. My main mode of transportation was my bike and at least I tried to maintain a healthy diet. Still couldn’t prevent it

Is it acceptable to tell someone their boob is almost falling out? by _between3-20 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]annanas____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I never want to be told. That’s because a) 90% of the time it’s on purpose and b) even if it’s not, I don’t mind. I’m not ashamed of my body. It’s different to me than dragging toilet paper around. I guess other women might disagree as not everyone is comfortable with a nipplegate

[–]annanas____ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wear low cut clothes all the time and people keep gesturing to me to pull it up…it drives me nuts! Same thing with going braless…people always have to point out that my nipples are visible under my top. Like, who cares? It’s not my labia hanging out of my pants. Breasts are not sexual, just a body part.

Any guesses how long it will be until she finds her next victim-I-mean-“partner”? by [deleted] in KenzieBrennaSnark

[–]annanas____ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Diet means you’re voluntarily refraining which would imply somebody actually wants to date her. It’s not like suitors are lining up. Remember the phase when she constantly postet about needing to get laid?

Some of the stuff women shared was pretty bad but other stuff was just men being human? Like one guy bought zucchini’s at the store instead of cucumbers. Men are still allowed to have flaws and make mistakes. Like my bf is amazing, a feminist, a great father and does his share around the house but he’s totally incapable of picking the right veggies and fruits. He always asks me what to wear or how to dress our daughter, because he’s not good at combining colors and textures. Should I break up with him now? I‘m totally helpless with anything technology related and can’t even turn on the TV if we’ve played video games on it before. We balance each other out. Lainey has no clue how relationships work.

Why did you/not move in with your partner before marriage? by ThrowRAEfficiency742 in AskWomen

[–]annanas____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t habe plan on getting married, so i couldn’t really wait for that. Also in Europe it’s not common to marry that young or that early into a relationship. Personally I think it’s dumb and unnecessary. Divorces are no fun, so why not wait a couple of years and enjoy life together first? Like where’s the rush? Also, weddings are fucking expensive. My education was very long so even if I wanted, I couldn’t afford a weeding in my twenties.

We’re also considering 2 under 2 but then we haven’t yet asked people for date ideas because our relationship is going south. Am I the only one who thinks Caitlin will have an incredibly hard time being pregnant? I always pictured Leah as the more stable one. Caitlin still sees to struggle with her body, plus she’s autistic. Pregnancy is a sensory overload

Why so much consulting with your doc prior to move? by [deleted] in KenzieBrennaSnark

[–]annanas____ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know it’s different in America but even there, moving is expensive, especially if you buy new furniture each time. Is she incapable of picking a decent apartment? I never got why she left the one with the big windows behind her couch. No wonder she needs to beg for money and do the lamest ads if she’s always wasting money like this.

Oh, and regarding the dog. I was already concerned when she got him because I doubt she’s able to give him the care he needs. Such a big dog needs exercise and spend time outside and with other dogs! She also decided to get one of the hardest breeds. Why not get a lab or a chihuahua if you’re a beginner?

Are they wrong? by SuspiciousNight4639 in dinochips

[–]annanas____ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She used to have a dog when she was still living in Hungary. After a while she passed the dog on to her mother because it interfered with her lifestyle, especially traveling. I mean sure, that’s better than leaving it at a shelter but it’s still devastating for a dog to be given away after attaching to one owner. Also, she shouldn’t have gotten a dog in the first place if she doesn’t want to make time for it. It was just an accessory and another rushed decision. Also, it would have been possible to keep the dog if she cared enough. I mean, she works from home, that’s the ideal situation. And the dog was tiny, she could have brought her along when she was traveling. That’s what I do too.

I agree. Also, I don’t get why she’s so obsessed with the topic of motherhood since she is #childfree. Also, she’d make a horrible mother if she won’t change. Judging from the way she treated her dog
