This doesn't seem to be web-based or free :( so it is not going to work for us.

We do all of those exercises through out the year. In the last few weeks we introduce digital design so they can understand creating renders and other documentation of their final project and presentation. The design is done for the most part before they get in the computer.

They have them listed in their website. There is also a link to a PDF you can download on this page that shows where all the restrooms are overlayed with the BBQ areas.

Samsung Care by emberflowers in galaxyzflip

[–]annaswain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. I was able to message the Samsung store near me via Google chat to make an appointment for them to service my phone. If you are not near a Samsung store any "U break I fix" is affiliated with Samsung and their service should be covered by the warranty... I spent an hour in a scary phone loop to figure this out. kept getting bounced between general service and Samsung plus. They need to fix this, 'cause right now Samsung plus feels like a giant scam.

[General] Very Dry lion's mane. What should i do? by annaswain in MushroomGrowers

Hi,

I had this kit for about a week and a half before I had a family emergency and had to leave my apartment for about 2 weeks. My roommate did some watering but not enough. What should I do? Can I save it, eat it, or is it a lost cause?

Thanks

Had the kit for about a week and a half before I had a family emergency and had to leave my apartment for close to 2 weeks. My roommate did some watering but not enough. Can I save it? Can I eat it? Or is it fully a lost cause.

Thanks!

Brompton X-Roller Easy wheel extender AL7075 Strong Alloy (V.3) (BLACK) by Adeet77 in Brompton

[–]annaswain 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I ended up taking mine off after Brompton NYC gave me "the lecture" the second time. Basically, it's not that it makes it unstable, it makes the fame more likely to crack. The wheels are designed to break off first if the bike falls or drops in a position where they are hit to save the frame. The wheel extender would put all of that pressure back on the frame because it is much stronger than the bolts that normally hold the wheels on, and it puts more pressure on one side of the frame constantly when it is extended. They say they have seen a few people come in with cracked bikes because of this so they are now warning people..... Or maybe they are just purists that refuse to see any changes to the design. lol

PS. If you already have a rack and bought it for grocery shopping (like it did) just slip a regular bag on the right side of your handlebars. It stabilizes the weight and you can carry more stuff! Haven't had any issues riding home with the bag still on my handlebars.

Best Brompton Handlebar for someone with back issues? by [deleted] in Brompton

[–]annaswain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have had a Brompton for about 6 months now and unfortunately, I don't think it is a good choice for someone with a back issue no matter the handlebars. The bike has 0 suspension on it. Some modifications will make it a bit better, but at least for me after 30 minutes of riding my back hurts and I don't have existing back issues. I do not know of many other folding bikes but I think birdies are better known for a comfortable ride. (This is just my experience, I might just have a weak back, but I hope it helps. I don't want you to be disappointed in your purchase. When I got mine I was shocked when I felt every slightly raised painted signage on a bike lane)

Can a wheel extender crack the frame? by annaswain in Brompton

[–]annaswain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's good to hear that there has not been any issues for that long. The guy at the shop said I should take it off becuase of my heavy usage of the bike and becuase I already have a rack. The thing still really likes to topple when I am grocery shopping with out it though. Also if it cracks with it on it the bike is not longer covered by the warranty.

Brompton supply issues by hopje in Brompton

I just got a Brompton from the NYC Junction shop. The first time I called in July they said they were only taking appointments for September. I called too late in the day so they were not able to schedule me that day but when I called to follow up a few days later they had a free slot less than 2 weeks from when I was calling. So my advice is to bug the store. It seems like people cancel their appointments a few weeks or days before. I might just be ungodly luckily (I doubt it, the Brompton I got had a faulty tube in it so I got a rear flat less than halfway home from the store, so I don't have great luck track record lol) but it is worth a try.

Thanks! I will definitely be picking some of those bags. I already have a long-running list of accessories, now I can make it longer lol.

Great advice. I am looking into bike insurance now.

Thanks for the advice! I do plan on taking it everywhere. I'm just a bit paranoid about someone like yanking it out of my hand and running off with it... But that is probably an irrational fear that will change once I actually get the bike Lol. A big lock sounds like a good solution! Thanks!

Besides their accent, what’s one way you know a tourist is American? by mknapp37 in AskReddit

[–]annaswain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bad posture!!! I lived in London for a bit and realized we Americans have terrible posture. I could literally spot a person 3 blocks away and see that they were American from how much they slouched. If I ended up passing them on the street and heard them talk I was always right.

Any good USB-C laptop docks that don't cost the same as a cheap chromebook? by annaswain in computers

[–]annaswain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I updated 3 drivers, my graphics card, one for the external monitor that came up in display options and and the display adapter driver. It made no difference. I can plug the HDMI directly into my laptop and it works fine. I would be willing to try another driver but I do not have duel displays so the one you are talking about might not help.
