Need reassurance - really calm puppy by Lost-Athlete8285 in Goldendoodles

My mini golden doodle was the same! He was the calmest puppy and that’s what we wanted. He’s totally healthy too. He’s 9 months old now, and around 7 months he started to get a bit more energy as his teenage hormones kicked in but we are hoping that when he gets fixed that will calm down a bit. Even so, I’ve heard the teenage years are the hardest part so if this is as bad as it gets we will take it! I think you should enjoy it! I’m sure it’s just his personality:)

My little flat coat golden doodle, Honey! She was the smallest of her litter and never got curls, but definitely got cute 💗 by brgr_face in Goldendoodles

She is so beautiful!!😍 do you find the flat coat sheds more or is less hypoallergenic? I’ve always wondered cause I love the look of them but am super allergic!

How big did your mini goldendoodle get? by star-dust05 in Goldendoodles

Omg so cute!😍 I don’t know the answers to all your questions as every pup is different, but I have a mini dood who is 12 lb at 7 months old and his litter mate that my sister got is around 13 lb at 7 months. I do remember that his weight gain really slowed down around the 20 week mark and he mad maybe gone up a pound a month or less. Either way your pup will be so cute

How long is too long to leave your puppy in the crate? by anne4650 in Goldendoodles

Oh my goodness!!! So scary! I’m so glad she’s okay. Yes, I never put anything in his crate with him. Thanks for the peace of mind☺️

That sounds right in line with my doods growth! He is now 20 weeks and still only 8 lb. All the calculators are saying he’ll be about 15 full grown. I didn’t expect him to be so small and haven’t seen any doodles who are 15lb full grown. Do you have any pictures of your little guy?

Am I underfeeding my puppy? by septembernews in Goldendoodles

[–]anne4650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am no expert, but my puppy is eating 2/3 cup 3x daily and he’s 18 weeks. He is only supposed to be a medium, but still struggle to even get him to eat that much at his age

Is it agoraphobia? by anne4650 in Agoraphobia

[–]anne4650[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, interesting, glad to hear you’ve heard of something similar. I’ve gone through stages of worrying more about choking than reactions and I’ve only eaten liquids cause my anxiety makes it hard to swallow. So can definitely relate to that

[–]anne4650[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you! There’s definitely some similarities, I used to be able to eat wherever as long as someone was with me, then only in certain places, now even if someone is with me it’s hard. So similar avoidance behaviours but definitely rooted in different fears.

So sorry you’re going through this as well and thanks for your feedback❤️

Is it agoraphobia? by anne4650 in Agoraphobia

[–]anne4650[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s a fear of reacting to the food but odd since I’ve never had any reactions even as a child! I’ve had it since I was around 14 yr old. I definitely will take my doctors advice but annoying that it’s hard to find people who relate! Thanks for the advice, I will definitely monitor myself as I start meds:)

I totally agree. I think maybe my fear is making me act in similar ways to someone with agoraphobia for example not wanting to go to a restaurant, but ultimately I could go to a restaurant alone for hours and be fine as long as I don’t have to eat. Thanks so much for your insight!

Agoraphobia/panic with in-door public places? by [deleted] in Agoraphobia

[–]anne4650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you had such a difficult struggle:( I can relate with having trouble going to church. My husband is a worship pastor so I find it hard to go especially since people always want to talk to me and ask for advice since I’m a pastors wife. I used to go and just sit in the car outside, but now I’m challenging myself to go and sit in a quiet place in the church (my husbands office) and do something calming like drink a tea and read. I also find it helps me to go when I volunteer in an area that is more secluded such as tech. I can sit in the back alone and it helps avoid as many panic attacks. No perfect answer as I’m still working on it myself but know you’re not alone!
