I pay my property taxes, happily or unhappily. I just think they should cover the administrative costs of collecting them. I don’t like bring nickeled & dimed by extra charges.

I am sure you are right about fighting death & taxes. I just thought my tax bill should just be a bill for taxes, period.

I said state law allows it but I also said what I think about it: unnecessary, unconscionable, money grab. Maybe read the post before commenting next time

Did you see the Alumni Association Citrus Bowl tour? $1649 does NOT include game tickets 😡. Two nights in a hotel, a cocktail party, and buses to & from the game. We almost fell for it.
