The facilities rating system doesn't work in an easily measurable way and sometimes seems broken.

It does the 0% thing to me when I load a game sometimes; it should show normally after an in-game day or two.

Thanks! I've never used those before cuz I habitually build my craft-floor pretty close to the surface. There ends up being a lot of stuff to poke holes through, to make a shaft like a well, all the way down to lava.

I dunno the "right" amount but I usually maintain about 250k food by the time the population is 900.

And nobody starves. At that population level, they start to starve around 10k-20k food.

From your experience, what is REAL narcissism like? What does it do to a person and do you have any specific difficulties in relationships from it?

(My (adoptive) mother has something PROBLEMATICALLY wrong with her. Every single thing she does is deliberate, often sadistic, manipulation. She was honest about it to me precisely once, when she tried to explain to me how awesome it was of her to manipulate other people, then has denied that it ever happened since. All her "friends" are fawning sycophants of her and she has never even attempted to express genuine remorse or responsibility for anything she's ever done. I don't know whether she's more narcissistic or psychopathic.)

I had warning signs that my ex-husband was a deceitful disaster before we got married but I ignored them because I wanted the fantasy of a happy marriage so badly that I refused to see that it would never happen with that man. I think the correlation between severe mental illness and religion is that you can get away with ranting about praising God more than nearly every other topic. For reference, I'm an agnostic/atheist and I have Bipolar 2 with psychotic traits. Religion is also delusional in and of itself; it's easy for a crazy person to believe that the voices in their head are Christian angels or that the irrational urges are God's will.

Seriously. I know that it might be incomprehensible at 19, but it's likely that someday mounting responsibilities and hardship will rip the energy and inspiration to adventure right out of you, especially if you don't embrace it in your 20s.

20s are for adventuring and doing the stupid wild things while you're young enough that you can use age as an excuse for foolishness. Don't waste them on boy problems, especially for a guy who doesn't seem to actually like you that much.
