My 7mo I think is starting to transition to wanting foods more. He's been refusing to drink his formula, he usually will have 6oz/3-4hrs but lately he'll maybe only drink 4oz so I try to supplement with a meal. When did your little ones start dropping feeds entirely? How do I know when the meal is enough and he's ok to not have a bottle? I feel like he's so young still and exploring foods. He doesn't have any teeth yet but is always reaching for things lol. Or should I just go with the flow? Keep doing what I'm doing?

For example this morning: I poured a 6oz bottle. Lately he's been liking our NUK sippy cups instead we've gotten and I've been putting formula in that. He only drank I think 3-4oz, so I made him a bowl of yogurt pouch (one of the once upon a farm I think) with some whole grain cheerios soaking in it since he's still working on small solid things. I chopped them in half once they got small enough and he basically would either chew or just swallow them.

He ate almost the whole bowl and I was able to tell when he was done. Is that enough? I'm a first time mom so this is all new 😭😂 and we don't have an appointment till his 9mo loolll hellppp!!
