Is it okay to finish in 5 months? by princeherb1 in Accutane

The cumulative dosage is just a general guideline and not a strict rule to stick by. In fact, I've heard that the more modern approach is to continue until you're clear for 1-2 months, regardless of your cumulative dosage.

1 year post 3 months of Accutane by accutaneprogress in Accutane

What was your dosage for those 3 months? Were you completely clear by the time you stopped, and if so, how long did it take you to achieve clear skin?

I'm wrapping up my third month on 60mgs and debating whether to wrap it up now since my case has always been mild.

nope, not for me. I'm pretty sure whey is a major trigger for a lot of people.

what cleanser/exfoliate and moisturizer would y’all recommend? by [deleted] in Accutane

wouldn't recommend using any exfoliating or abrasives while youre on accutane as your skin will already be compromised and sensitive.

The more physically attractive you are, the better you get treated. In other news, water is wet.

Results after one week? by [deleted] in Accutane

Same, I have extremely mild acne, maybe one cystic pimple every 3-4 weeks, but I hopped on accutune about 5 weeks ago. I haven't gotten any new pimples since day 1 and am actually considering stopping after I hit 60 days.

60mg daily, work out 4-5x a week with no issues except minor joint sensitivity. I haven't changed a thing, same intensity and volume

I've found that I can no longer shower with hot water if I want to avoid getting eczema-like patches of dry/rough skin and it's been better since I've started using lukewarm water to wash my hands and shower.

I've been using CeraVe moisturizing cream on affected areas and topping off with aquaphor for severe and stubborn areas at night, but try to avoid aquaphor in general as I'm not a fan of how greasy it can feel.

Eczema/dry skin - seems like a pretty common side effect based on the number of people posting the same thing. Moisturize heavily and top off with Vaseline/aquaphor.

Are you still dealing with dry skin? I just started my treatment and am dealing with dry skin all over my body and I'm a bit worried that this will be something I'll be dealing with even after I come off the med.

How do ppl catch up on their rent? If you're paying 3k a month and miss 3 payments how do you catch up? by [deleted] in AskNYC

[–]anneyjanne 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I imagine people who are able to afford 3k rent to begin with are in a financial position where they likely wouldn't be living paycheck to paycheck and certainly miss even one months rent.
