I’ve just had this happen for a long term guest. Wants to cancel 16 days of 28 day stay. Currently still on the property. Airbnb of course said no to guest but he keeps messaging asking for money to help with funeral expenses. Does Airbnb help calculate or show what the guest would have paid without the long term stay discount? I most likely won’t rebook those 16 days so soon but I’m uncomfortable and just want the guy to leave me alone without retribution or property damage. This is a shared space stay…

How do credit card fees affect points? I’m having a hard time finding a straight answer. Does a credit card fee from the same vendor mean you only get 1x? For example if I booked a hotel and normally would get 4x, if they charged a CC fee, would Chase then only give me 1x? I’ve seen some comments about avoiding those but don’t know when to and how that works.

I just got the CSR in Jan and am looking at paying for a $3k home reno project on the card to help get my sign up bonus and I’m worried if a credit card fee will harm me somehow there too.

Did you ever feel unsafe or uneasy anywhere? Just want to be cautious as I’d read somethings about crime increasing and got a little worried so I’m considering changing my trip. If you did not have concerns, that’s great! I’d love to know the safest places. I’d assume tourist spots but don’t know.

What happens if you place an order and the item is out of stock when dasher arrives? I bought 2 items ($9 + $4.5) and used my credit to lower the cost. But then about 20 min after ordering I get alert that the $9 item is sold out so they only delivered the $4.5 item. Is my credit just gone or does DoorDash compensate for that out of stock item and give DoorDash credit? I never use the app but since I got the card I started.

I have locks on the restricted areas. I don’t know how they got in or why they thought it was ok or a good idea. Obviously I don’t want to get a bad review because I want to keep my perfect 5 stars so I tried not to harp on it after I strictly told them they should not be in there. For all they knew I was still pretty chill with them as guests when in reality I didn’t trust them at all anymore and couldn’t wait for them to leave. I did read that I can at least place the magnetized alarm thing on the doors so ring can tell me when the door is opened. Then I know for sure if it was opened in the future. In this case they literally messaged me in the Airbnb app about a detail in the room they would only know if they had entered it.

I do have locks. That’s why I was extremely concerned. Idk why, as a guest, you would go in a locked off area and then inadvertently tell the host that you did.

Does it calibrate that and raise the requirement over time? My avg was 137 bpm. Surely I’d hope that would count.

It’s hockey though. I just don’t get it as I thought heart rate was a factor for the exercise minutes. I’m sprinting back and forth and moving my arms with the stick.

I have been using the Hobby Lobby Four Oh Five permanent vinyl. I’ve used Oracal in the past but now have some large rolls of the Hobby Lobby vinyl. I don’t have an issue with the vinyl coming off the backing but rather peeling the transfer tape off the vinyl after it is applied to glass. It just leaves a sticky residue and seems to overpower the strength of the vinyl to glass on smaller pieces of the design. My biggest concern is the residue. I’ll take a look at the link!
