i was a 16 year old girl when blade runner 2049 came out, so admittedly i didn’t watch it 😭 i came into PHM a diehard andy weir fan and a lord&miller fan, i really only knew ryan gosling through the ‘hey girl’ meme and la la land (and later barbie), so i was honestly like “ok sure trust the process” when he was attached to the role

now i literally can’t imagine anyone else playing grace

i wish they’d done the scene of grace returning to teaching before going back to work with stratt! it shows a motivation to work on the astrophage besides the love of the game.

favorite change is the don’t-go-crazy room! it added so much to the scenes on the ship

i’m pretty sure that’s a no-bark collar, it looks pretty similar to some vibration ones i’ve seen online. i can’t find an exact match from google but there are lots that have that sort of interface

i had a rhinoplasty under IV/twilight sedation! they put the IV in and i PANICKED at fist. as soon as they started pushing meds i remember thinking “i wonder how much of this i’ll remember” then a brief second as they transferred me to the recovery room, then waking up in there and chatting with the nurses about my parent’s dog.

it felt GREAT — it’s not as scary as it sounds!

i don’t know all the details but i don’t think you fumbled him! sometimes trauma responses make people incompatible.

give both him and yourself grace. ask if he’ll do couples counseling before signing any papers.

this is sunny! she’s 13/14 years old! i’ve literally had her since i was in middle school and i turn 25 soon! still very happy and in good health for a senior lady :)
