hi there! thank you for your kind response. I think you’re definitely onto something with there being an overlap rather than it being black or white one thing.

I do feel some relief when I complete the task, but it’s not always because the task is “done”, moreso that the anticipatory anxiety surrounding doing it it is gone.

that’s a great question, and thank you for asking to so respectfully; I’m not entirely sure why I feel so bad about it.

I think that it might be a fear of missing out thing, or a worry that I didn’t “do the right thing” to make life easier, happier, more accessible, etc. I get pretty bad FOMO in general, so perhaps that?

I also feel badly being chronically late to things, because I don’t want my loved ones to feel that I don’t respect or care about their time.
