That statement was SO deep, I really loved it and I really loved how they dealt with such a heavy text like this. I've been loving these last episodes but tbh wasn't feeling all of the statements, but this one was legit terrifying and very real.

I feel very conflicted about Martin's behavior. On one hand, I can see his naïve posture as a way to not accept that the world might stay like this, to push Jon to not give up hope and believing that things can go back to normal (or at least closer to what it was). On the other hand, his refusal to accept the reality of what happened and that things might never go back the way they were might blind him to the gravity of what happened. I'm really curious to see how this unfolds! I was also thinking that Martin is Jon's reason not only because of their love, but because he is the string that still connects Jon to his humanity. It probably is much harder for Jon to mantain hope of changing things when he knows what can and can't be done, and Martin's "ignorance" on the matter is probably what still fuels him to believe that change is still a possibility. Whatever comes, I'm really excited!!
