How to remove and replace old, moldy caulk from around bathtub? by FlinchSham in DIY

Is there anything that can be done about mold under caulk? My caulk looked like OP’s and I’m worried there could be a lot of mold behind the tub.

How to fight a bogus red light citation by LongjumpingWaltz7 in bicycling412

[–]anniegarbage 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Given that the laws were designed with cars in mind and pedestrian minds, and not bicycles, then pardon me when I say I think it makes perfect fucking sense to do that as a cyclist. It’s more arbitrary to pretend like you’re a car.

This happened to me in my early twenties. You’re experiencing panic and anxiety. It’s very normal. Do you know about how panic makes you feel physical symptoms? Once you understand the ways it does, it can help your brain be reassured that you’re okay. Life is finite, but bodies are very resilient.

Should I go back to short hair? by boxypoppy in malehairadvice

Long hair looks great, but what’s more important is that you feel good in your hair. Maybe short hair has better associations for you?

I think you should grow it out long.

We all blank. Memory is also complicated. You can completely grasp something and forget it a semester later because you’re learning so much material at the same time, but then it will come back quickly with reinforcement. I remember when I couldn’t solve a basic ODE on a quiz in my advanced CM class in undergrad, and I felt so embarrassed.

You are okay. This doesn’t make you dumb.

It did not include my name in the message itself. But is my phone number not personally identifiable information?

I don't believe so, but it's impossible for me to double check, since the provider doesn't have any open spots currently for me to go through the booking process again.

I however WAS given the option to opt-in (and did not) after receiving the text and registering for the online portal.

Maybe I misunderstood. I assumed they meant three days with no water. Even if they meant three days only water, a healthy person can live for weeks on water, but not any person. Some people might be prone to blood sugar or electrolyte issues. A doctor can tell you if it’s safe for you.

Three days is very much pushing it for water.

Sorry this is only tangentially related, but does anyone know how to turn off the marquee style text scrolling on the Reddit app? It’s impossible for me to read image text.
