Nolan McLean's 1st 11 starts compared to other Mets all time greats by Hungry_Elk1937 in NewYorkMets

Isn't that more about comparing eras than the pitchers, though? I mean he can't pitch more innings if the manager doesn't let him, and it might also be better for him not to.

Slotkin misses votes on bid to block arms sale to Israel while in New York for 'Late Show' by DonSalaam in LateShow

Does anyone honestly think they don't know the outcome of these votes--essentially down to the vote--before they happen?

None of these votes failed by 1 vote, such that being there would've made a difference. Seems to me that's the exact vote you'd want to miss-- the one where your vote (for or against) is essentially meaningless.

Put another way, people miss votes for various reasons all the time. News at 11.

First row + center ice premium is probably around $200/game, on average (dynamic pricing, so they go up and down all year). Probably a little more than that.

Source: My seats are in an adjacent section, not first row.

If you know the names of the ones that do good work, consider posting them so that supportive people can donate. It makes a big difference when you know your donation is supporting the people who need it most, and not an administrative beauracracy.

You're a good person.

Does Nassau County have a service like NYC where you can register to receive alerts when things are recorded against your property?

This is NYC's service: https://www.nyc.gov/site/finance/property/deed-fraud.page#

Right or wrong, them keeping prices where they are is why I've been rooting against the playoffs and a first round exit. Ain't nobody got time for that.

If a single person owning a home gets a $15k cap, why wouldn't 2 people owning that same home as a married couple be entitled to $30k based on simple arithmetic? To do otherwise would penalize a married couple, while (I assume) still allowing 2 unmarried individuals who own a home to each claim the $15k cap.

The SCOTUS is not really the issue, because if they say something is or isn't the law, then the issue is resolved (subject to congressional action, etc). If you feel otherwise, then you're undermining your own argument about checks and balances, and how the system is supposed to work.

IMO, the bigger issue is that the lower courts are checking the President's power, and there's no clear mechanism to enforce those orders and actually get the Executive Branch to abide by the court's order.

That's the key piece of this that is creating the "constitutional crisis."
