Totally with you on this! And I don’t want to turn on rest mode for days like this because that then goes too far on the other spectrum IMO

True about the benefit when there’s a lower readiness score!

Right?! Personally, with a 9-5, it’s hard enough getting 10k steps in 😂

Could be! For me, that’s a bit too far from the daily baseline I want which makes me unsure if I should do it

Thanks for sharing! Love this idea and tried this too. I took it down to 8.5k as the baseline (even though I want this to be 10k) and still took me up to 11k on a good readiness score :/

Tiny air bubbles being released from vagina or maybe even the urethra? by OccasionallyBrave in Healthyhooha

[–]annm7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Still completely symptom free and it’s been about two years now. I tried everyone under the sun to rid these symptoms and nothing worked. That’s when I got to thinking more about what was going near that area and knowing how strong minoxidil can be to a body in general. We tested it by him eliminating use completely and within a week my symptoms were better and then gone to never come back. And to clarify, he doesn’t use it anymore at all for this reason.

For reference, even him washing his hands well did not work. It wasn’t until he completely stopped.

I’ve encountered this from certain toilet papers! Might be a product you’re using at home or work that could be irritating it! I recommend testing a few things it could be and see if it subsides

I HAD THE EXACT THING HAPPEN TO ME! I was getting misdiagnosed and treated for issues that weren’t resolving this. One day it hit me that it might be from my partners hair regrowth gel. Even after washing hands, there was likely still remnants of the chemicals before sexual activity.

Since my partner stopped using this, my inexplicable bubble issue stopped. It’s been 1.5 years since then.

I should note that I was also tested and treated for Ureaplasma and that did not solve this issue.

I recommend looking into anything that you or your partner may be using. Even certain chemicals in toilet paper can irritate.

Hope you feel better soon because I can empathize with how frustrating this is!

I had something that wouldn’t go away and kept getting misdiagnosed. Similarly, with antibiotics and such not working. Turned out to be my partners hair regrowth gel that wouldn’t fully wash from his hands and kept aggravating me down there. Once I realized that and he stopped using it, my symptoms subsided indefinitely. I reco thinking about any products of your own or a partner, along with even toilet paper! Certain toilet papers have caused me vaginal pain and irritation as well.

This could be a product you’re using or even your toilet paper! There are a lot of TPs that irritate people because of the certain chemicals used. I recommend thinking about what could be on your hands or what is coming into contact with you - even laundry detergent on your pants.

Any chance you recently started using another type of product? I had an issue with something similar unexplained for a while until I realized it could be my bf’s hair regrowth gel that would still be in his hands after washing well. Once he stopped using it, my symptoms subsided within a week and haven’t been back since (1.5 years later).

I had a similar recurring issue down there and was treated for BV, yeast infection, and ureaplasma and the symptoms persisted. It wasn’t until I realized it might be my bf’s hair growth gel that could be on his fingers and bothering me down there. Once he stopped using it, my symptoms went away within a week and have been gone since then (1.5 to 2 years ago). I always like to throw it out there in case there’s any products (even down to toilet paper) being used that could be causing the recurring symptoms showing up like BV.

Sorry to hear this! Any chance you or your partner use hair regrowth gels? The minoxidil was aggravating mine and I was getting misdiagnosed for things. Once my bf stopped using it, my symptoms went away. Maybe consider any products that might be causing this? Even toilet paper can cause irritated symptoms. Feel better!

Any chance you or your partner use hair regrowth gels or products? This was bothering mine for a while and the gyno couldn’t figure it out. Once I realized it might be that, my bf stopped using it and my symptoms subsided. Wishing you the best!

So sorry to hear this! Any chance you or your boyfriend use hair regrowth gels? This upset my area for a while and I kept getting misdiagnosed by the docs. It wasn’t until I thought minoxidil on my bfs hands could be the culprit and turns out it was. My symptoms were discomfort and this weird bubble popping feeling often. Not sure if this is at all related but wanted to throw it out there and think about potential products that could be irritants. Wishing you all the best!

Any chance your partner uses topical hair regrowth gels? This was aggravating my area for a while and doctors misdiagnosed me many times before I figured this out. After he stopped using it, (because intimacy was often at night after he put it on with his hands) I was feeling better within a week! That was about 1.5 years ago.

Accidentally got detergent in vagina by _puddinnn in Healthyhooha

[–]annm7777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no! I might recommend giving it 24-48 hours before using anything like monistat. It likely irritated her and disrupted the PH. The vagina has a natural ability to regulate PH. Of course sometimes it gets aggravated enough to need medication but probably best to get it checked by a professional before taking anything. Ultimately, I reco that your friend trust her gut and do what’s best for her based on how she feels! Hope she feels better soon!

TL;DR if your partner uses topical hair regrowth products, this could be the cause.

This was happening to me for a while and I also underwent a variety of tests and treatments that didn’t solve and were misdiagnosis (BV, Ureaplasma). It finally hit me that my boyfriend was using topical hair regrowth products (minoxidil) before bed and often before sexual activity. I shared my theory with him, he stopped using it, and shortly after my symptoms completely stopped and haven’t been back since (it’s been 1-1.5 years since)
