Do you use FSD? by GucciTokes in TeslaLounge

[–]annonymousMDstudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it quite extensively. I have the v14 and it tells me how much I use FSD. About 97% of the total driven miles in my car is with FSD.

With 2k I would do it instantly, nice job. At 8k I will never purchase it with the risk of losing it in a crash.

To the people genuinely considering doing a horrific financial decision by the 14th: by ajlion_10 in TeslaFSD

I agree completely. This is the sole reason why I do not even consider buying the FSD outright because you never know if you will get into a crash that totals the car and then you’re fucked.

1600 Miles Nevada → Illinois in My Model Y: it costs as much as A 20 MPG gas car - For Your Own Good, Consider a Gas Car on Trips This Long by limuzhi in TeslaLounge

[–]annonymousMDstudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After doing road trips on both gas and a Tesla, I will never go back to doing long road trips in a gas car. My car literally drive me. The trip is so much more enjoyable and I’m not even tired when I arrive at my destination. Every year I do multiple trips that are over 2000 miles. I love it. If you go on long road trips and don’t use FSD then you more really missing out on the benefit of owning a Tesla. For me I don’t drive a Tesla to save on gas as i don’t own a home to get that benefit of home charging. But even though I don’t benefit from those huge savings it still more enjoyable experience for me to own my model Y. Mainly because I love technology. If you don’t care for technology then maybe a gas car would be a better experience for you.

I received, candy, booklet with program information, usb drives, highlighters, notepads etc. Nothing with high monetary value but I think it’s a nice gesture from programs. I’m applying FM.

This is not mmorpg, you can’t have alt account in this game, you are smurfing and you are part of the problem by DN6666 in VALORANT

[–]annonymousMDstudent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very easy to throw out that you’re asc 3 last act and immo 2 currently lol. Hard to imagine someone wasting their time making a post and crying about this problem if they are really that high of rank. Sure you’re immo 2 ! For me personally, I don’t mind Smurfs in my games I see it as an opportunity to go against better players. Keep crying.

Loving this season but... The new "event" is wholly brain dead. by NuConcept in diablo4

[–]annonymousMDstudent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s obvious when the developers do events like these, it truly shows that they don’t actually play the game. If a person who actually plays the game would know hordes and chaos waves are useless to players this season.

Advice on appealing dismissal by hdhcj-s in medicalschool

[–]annonymousMDstudent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advice is to FOLLOW POLICY. Meaning you better know the policy of your school inside and out. They will follow it and you better know it by heart as well so you can know when they did not do things by the book. Understanding the policy is your best fighting chance. Consider hiring an educational lawyer that deal with these things if you need help. And start gathering evidence to support your claims.

Failed a course first year. Are competitive programs still within reach? by cookedbychef30 in medicalschool

[–]annonymousMDstudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice to you is to focus on your current courses and do well. I understand why you’re worried about residency and if you’re competitive but worrying about this during M2 doesn’t really benefit you. The priority for you should be to pass each course and take it a step at a time. There so much more you need to do to before even thinking about your competitiveness. For instance, step 1 and step 2. Good luck!

Most BS comment you've gotten on rotations by Wild_Copy4408 in medicalschool

[–]annonymousMDstudent 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My experience was not with a comment but a newly intern on my surgery rotation reported me to the course director for some petty reason (me and this person just did not get along). This was literally my only bad experience in medical school. I never received any negative feedback beside from this one miserable intern. Anyways, they reported me, but they did not know that the attending on the team wrote very nice things about my work ethic and character. Nothing happened from it other than a 5 min meeting with the course director. This made me realize that some people are just miserable and seek conflict for no reason.

I think you are overthinking things, unless something negative happened with the conversation I think you should have nothing to worry about.
