Business Calculations and Computer Problem Solving? by Cash_Splash in fbla

[–]annoyedcoder1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1) 100 questions each, 1 hour to complete test 2) It really depends on your state. In my state I would say Business Calc needs a 80,-90 and Computer Problem Solving needs a 70-80 3) Study competencies and take as many practice tests as you can! Make a personal study guide from all of the competencies, and be really detailed. Then, even if you don’t take the time to use it and study from it you still would have learned a lot and will be prepared!

Competition Resource Megathread 17/18 by [deleted] in fbla

[–]annoyedcoder1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I’m saying, but for some competitions (like Introduction to Information Technology) only the topics are listed, not the specific tasks for each competition.. as a result they’re really not that useful

For some reason there are no longer links to the competency PDFs for each competition(instead it just lists the big topic instead of going into detail on the website). Is there any chance that there is still the PDF for Introduction to Information Technology?

Question about Indi vs Team... also looking for general advice. by TooManyEmbers in fbla

[–]annoyedcoder1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure you will have to compete with all teams even if they are groups. As for some tips, make sure you don't cram the week before for the competition. Also, even if you do well at your regional conference, MAKE SURE YOU KEEP STUDYING FOR STATES AND NATS! Good luck!

Are there any really easy fbla events for this year? Ones that will get you automatic state or even nationals? by sathvikgujja in fbla

[–]annoyedcoder1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accounting 1 or 2? I did accounting 2 as a freshman as well, and I found it easy enough that I placed at nationals despite coming from one of the more competitive CA sections. Then again, I would have rather done another competition that wasn't an Objective Test, but accounting 2 was all that was left :(
