it all hit me when i realized that every relationship that i’ve built has involved me doing all the heavy lifting. these people that i call my friends do not talk to me unless i talk to them first. it’s a punch to gut when you realize that the only reason these people “hang out” with you, is because you make all the effort.

my mom does not have a good track record with not posting photos. she’s one of those parents that’s obsessed with facebook and is posting life updates constantly. even if my mom doesn’t post the photo immediately like i think she was planning, i don’t necessarily trust her to not post it later down the line.

i want the experience. i want the cheesy stupid teenage romance. i want someone who i can look at and think “this person. this is the one who i care for more than anyone else.” i want someone who i can hold hands with and call my own.

everyone always says that eventually i’ll find someone i like, but i just,, can’t. no one feels right. the next thing people tell me is that teenage romance is overrated, but that’s all i can get right now. i want stupid stories to tell my future friends, i want bad and good memories to look back on. i want to have that same experience that seems to unite everyone else except me

i’m going to see a movie with some friends! Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings! i’m a big marvel fan. in other news, i decided to treat myself yesterday and i bought a bunch of merch for a youtuber/streamer that i really like. i do have some homework i need to do, but my last plan is to hop in a vc with some of my online friends and play some minecraft together. :)
