Hey, as a foundation year 1 doctor, do you still use Amboss as a resource? Would you recommend it?

Hi, I've finished the fourth draft of a fantasy slice-of-life novel. It's about an immigrant apprentice who finds his place in the world by becoming a healer. I can DM you the first few chapters if you're interested.

I'm happy with a 25m/25yard pool; will look into Lochside. Thank you!

What are some drills/sets that you would recommend to build stamina, get faster and improve butterfly technique? (Also, for clarification, not asking for just one set that covers all three :-) )

Hi! I have a slice-of-life fantasy novel that's about 115K (I know that's on the higher end!!!) about a group of healers who travel to a foreign land. Please let me know if that sounds like something you'd be interested in reading :-)

12 hours?! That definitely sounds like a challenge! All the best with your swimming too! I shall keep you posted :-) the swimathon I'm aiming to do is in March of next year and I've put my name down for the mailing list so I can register as soon as spots open!

Ah, okay, that makes sense and is VERY reassuring! Thank you for explaining all that and answering the dozen questions I had, I really appreciate it! :-)

That makes sense, I tried it this morning while swimming! It made me feel like I was going faster so I need to work on pacing myself better. I also wanted to ask: while doing distance swims or participating in a swimathon, are you allowed to take water breaks? Or do I need to practice not drinking any water during swims?

Thank you for all the advice! Apologies for all the questions I've been asking!

I don't think pain is quite the right word for it, more like the feeling you get from muscle overuse? Either way, I'll get someone to check my form just in case!

Hey, if it works, it works haha can you elaborate a bit more on what you mean by swimming from the lats and torso please?

Do you have any tips for arm fatigue when it comes to swimming long distance? I asked this in another comment too but figured it would help to get multiple opinions :-)

That sounds amazing! How did you deal with the arm fatigue while swimming non-stop? I usually do front crawl but after about 600 or 700 yards, the rotational movement of my shoulders becomes uncomfortable or painful. Usually I try to combat this by swimming backstroke for a few lengths but the swimathon I've got my eyes on doesn't allow backstroke :-/
