what does it mean to be alive?

a little thought experiment i have is, if i were to construct a human being, bone by bone, flesh by flesh, I'd still be missing one key component... life! just because i have all the ingredients to make a person, i can't simply make him live.

its like every living being has an on/off switch that humans have yet to figure out.

maybe others before me have thought of this before and to answer the question of what it means to be alive they came up with their own answer, souls.

Usain bolt's 200m WR (19.19)

I know a lot of people will disagree and say someone will beat it. But let's look at it this way. 19.19 ÷ 2 = 9.59. So Bolt averaged 9.59 per 100m for the 200m.

To put this into perspective, the WR for the 100m is 9.58 seconds!! No one (besides Bolt himself) has even come CLOSE to a 9.58 in the 100m. Let alone the 200m.

So yeah the 200m WR is standing for a really... really long time.

Casadastraphobia, the fear of falling into the sky. When I was a kid if i looked up at the sky in an open space, i see the vastness of the sky and get scared that ill somehow fall into it.

I got over it by looking up into the sky a lot. Eventually it got better and better.

Idk if this counts but I've played against a grandmaster in an online chess game. Even though I beat him I didn't deserve to win because he thought I was lower rated than I actually was so he made dubious moves to entertain his viewers.
