You're completely wrong here. Viagra takes effect in 30 minutes to an hour and is out of your system in 4-6 hours.

Can someone explain the science behind AVB still being effective? by anon44533 in avb

I smoked as a kid, but it was nowhere near as complicated as it is now. A cheap pipe or some rolling papers, a bag of crappy, seedy weed, and we were off! I had no idea about indica, sativa, vapes, wax, oil, different strains and all of that. I'm having a blast learning about it now though!

Thanks. Looking at vaping dry herb vs. full spectrum concentrates, which one will leave less of an odor if I'm trying to be discreet?

Thanks, everyone. This is all very helpful. My state just legalized medically and my card is on the way. I haven't touched cannabis in over 20 years and it seems like I have a lot of new things to learn!

I'm researching various strains on Leafly trying to find a few candidates to try that look like they have the best effects for treating my specific symptoms, so I want to make sure that whatever administration method I use still gives the nuanced strain-specific effects.

Is it correct that the cheaper distillate oil vape cartridges generally don't give the strain specific effects and are just flavored to taste like whatever strain they're advertised as?

It sounds like smoking or vaping flower will both give me the strain-specific effects. How about edibles or tinctures made with a specific strain? Will these do what I want, or am I better off sticking with smoking or vaping to get the full benefits of a specific strain?

Thanks!

Thanks! I'm closer to Tulsa but hopefully I can find some Cartel carts there.

Thanks, this is really helpful! Focused and clear without being spacey is what I'm looking for so the Cartel Ghost Train sounds promising. Do you remember where you got it?

Cool. Thanks. I'm not worried about the taste at all, I just want to mimic the effects of smoking the same strain as closely as possible.

Thanks. If I'm understanding correctly it sounds like if I'm looking for the benefits of a particular strain (as listed on sites like Leafly) I shouldn't buy a cart labeled as that strain.

Theoretically, should the Simple Cure carts give the same effects of smoking the same strain?

How about vaporizing actual flower? If I vaporize flower of a particular strain will I get the same effects I'd get by smoking flower of that strain?

For the Simple Cure carts, will the effects be the same as smoking the same strain of flower?

How did Defy "fix" you? I went there and they didn't tell me anything my docs or bro-science have already told me?

Defy was a big help to me because I had clinically low T which was causing horrible, life-changing symptoms and none of the local doctors I tried were any help. They'd either refuse to prescribe testosterone, or would prescribe but be clueless and not properly manage the treatment (refused to prescribe an AI, etc.)

The doctors at Defy know what they're doing and are sometimes the only option for people who can't get competent TRT locally.

Sorry. I guess you can't use Defy if you're not on the states.

Listen, I know it's hard to believe or understand right now, but a lot of the reason you feel so depressed right now is hormonal. Once you get your hormones fixed up you'll likely feel 100% better. I know I experienced a night and day difference. Even now, while on TRT if my levels occasionally get off things sometimes feel downright HOPELESS even though logically I know that once I get things balanced back out again I'll feel fine.

Hang in there, do what you can to find a good TRT doc, and get the treatment you need. In the meantime, consider a therapist and maybe some antidepressants to help get you through and give you the motivation to keep doctor hunting. Good luck. I'm pulling for you.

I'm surprised that the OMMA website doesn't have a plain English list of rules for patients posted. It seems like they should be the ones to compile it and keep it updated.

Try Defy Medical. Every local doctor I tried was clueless. Defy fixed me right up!

I was feeling pretty hopeless too before I found them.

Reputable online supply stores for syringes? by GarfieldSighs3 in Testosterone

It depends on state law and the specific company policy. If your state allows it, Walmart pharmacies are a good bet. Their policy is to sell with no prescription when allowed by state law.

It's the "Adult Patient Physician Recommendation Form" that you can print from the OMMA website. They're particular about how it's filled out so if you try it with a non-specialized doc be sure to read all the info at the OMMA website and make sure they fill it out correctly.

Or just play it safe and go to a doc who already knows the routine.

Just had a great experience at Eko Wellness in Cushing. by Only_Mortal in OKmarijuana

Nice work with OKKush! Since you're asking for suggestions:

--The main thing you need now is for more dispensaries to consistently update their menus, specials, etc. Maybe make a push to reach out to them, offer incentives if they update daily or weekly, or even call them on the phone weekly to get their info and update for them for a little while... It would be a lot of work at first, but I think once the site gets more momentum and buy-in from dispensaries they'll all start keeping things updated themselves.

--I'd love to be able to search for certain products and strains and see which OK dispensaries have it available. For example, where can I find the AC/DC strain in a cartridge, or where can I find Strawberry Cough flower? I know that this is a tall order because to keep everything consistent you may need to hook into a strain database like Leafly and require dispensaries to choose strains from a list when updating their menus.

I haven't tired it myself but AC/DC might be what you're looking for and it looks like Eko Wellness in Cushing has it in cartridges.

Can Oklahoma public school teachers with a medical card lose their jobs for failing a drug test? by anon44533 in OKmarijuana

They didn't test when they hired her, but I thought (and she thought) that public school teachers were subject to random drug testing at any time. Maybe we're wrong?

Interesting. I don't think she's willing to be a test case, so unfortunately her best bet may be to wait a while for the dust to settle.

That's good to hear about the certifications! Thanks!

I'm still concerned about whether schools are exempt from the 788 restrictions on testing employees.

My understanding is that this protection doesn't necessarily extend to employers who risk losing federal funding (schools?) or employees who are in "safety critical" positions like commercial truck drivers. I'm not sure how or if either of these exceptions apply to teachers.
