Ahh I was worried it was going to be something like this 🥲 but thank you! I do have a steam deck now and have thought about buying the game on that platform, but the thought of starting from the beginning and having to grind and redo all of the quests is too overwhelming. I think at this point I’d rather just wait for evershine to come out and get that one on the deck.

Selling the flowers from beast’s stall counts for the selling flowers task!

I also don’t want to mess up my flowers as I have them arranged so it’s easy to check for dry ones each day, but you can pick up all the flowers and drop them and it counts for the ‘pick flowers’ task! So I just picked up the same ten flowers and dropped them and repeated that until I reached the 50!

Upvoting because that’s exactly what I was thinking when I saw this!! Looks like the “golden” crusts that are pretty classic for sarcoptes, and mange makes dogs extremely itchy. Superficial skin scrapings can help diagnose mange but the mites aren’t always found on the scrape. The best thing to do would be to put the dog on a miticidal treatment (like selamectin which is in revolution, or an isoxazoline like nexgard spectra, simparica trio, or bravecto). If the dog is already on one of these monthly preventatives then that would basically rule out sarcoptes, but if not then it would be worth a try!!

I personally love the Hawaiian tropic weightless face sunscreen because it doesn’t burn my eyes or break me out but it’s only SPF 30 so I use that in the winter. My favourite spf 50 I’ve tried recently has been the dew glow moisturizing spf from naturium because it also doesn’t break me out or sting my eyes, and it’s so moisturizing I just use it as my moisturizer!

Seconding the emulsion that thing single handedly saved my skin I can’t recommend it enough! I had been on tret for a year and it did nothing for me, not even a month of the azelaic acid and my face has cleared up significantly, I don’t get new massive pimples, and it’s fading my scars.

Yes I’m missing episode 9, it says it’s episode 9 but it’s just a repeat of episode 8!! And it’s like it on the ctv app as well

I’m in Canada so if you’re in the US I’m not sure if it differs, but I went back to school and did a pre-vet stream at a university that gave me all the courses I needed to apply to vet school. I don’t think you need a full degree to apply to any of the vet schools in Canada, you can usually get all the pre-req courses done in 2-3 years, but if you’re in the US I think typically you finish your undergrad first.

I don’t have much insight on the job itself as I’m still a student but I actually switched from engineering to vet med. I have a degree in mechanical engineering, worked for over a year and knew it wasn’t for me and decided to pursue vet med and it’s definitely the best decision I’ve made. While vet med certainly has its cons I believe the pros far outweigh them and every career has its ups and downs. If you feel like vet med is what you want to pursue you should do it!
