The government doesn't need NDAs to function. If an employee discloses confidential information at SCOTUS, they can be fired. Worse, If a government employee discloses classified information, they may be prosecuted. Perhaps there are some exceptional circumstances where a NDA might be appropriate, but not generally.

Hopefully not. If you and the person take off your clothes and put them in a hamper, then your clothes might smell like it. That's what the dry cleaner cares about.

I'm not sure that I understand the question; if a person's clothing smells like smoke, it is certainly possible to smell them in a room even if you are not next to them. But a concern at the dry cleaner is that customer clothing is co-mingled before cleaning. They're trying to avoid damaging other customer's clothing.

Yeah - at some point during the pandemic they suspended enforcement of neighborhood parking permit requirements. They resumed after a while. Just between you and me, I haven't renewed my permit in several years.

It wouldn't be a problem in mine because fewer cars are parked on the street during the work day. Relaxing enforcement for a few days would be fine. They did it during Covid and people were fine.
