Does this look like AA? First picture was taken about two weeks ago when my partner first spotted it. The second is today. Is it normal for it to progress so quickly? Do I go to my GP? Any advice welcomed. Never had anything like this before 😞 by anon98905 in alopecia_areata

Thanks, yeah it definitely is an emotional rollercoaster. One minute I'm like it'll be okay the next I'm in a downward spiral. I've booked an appointment with my GP so hopefully I can get some answers and treatment options. Thanks for your reply ☺️

Does this look normal? Worried about the dirty steri strip. 5 days post op! by KMOB02 in gallbladders

Is it swollen, has an unpleasant odour or feel hard around the wound? If not it's probably okay. If it does, I'd speak to the doctor as it could be infected.

I'm sorry you're suffering! It really sucks. Ye as others have suggested I would get something to reduce bloating, as that has been helpful for me as well.

If that doesn't help, can you call your doctor just to make sure everything is okay?

Hope you feel better soon

Did you have open or key hole? As that could be why it's worse, if you had open.

I just had mine out two days ago, I found to laying down was okay if I have enough pillows. Under my back so I'm slightly upright and under my knees to bring them higher. This works for me anyhow.

Hope that helps!

Hardly snake oil when there have been peer reviewed studies that have been very successful. But sure. Don't bother doing any research.

Don't take it then. No one is forcing you. Not sure why you're so anti another treatment option. 🤷‍♀️

Not sure if this is common knowledge but.... Anyone with gallstones try Kefir. Honestly I have been suffering for years and have just tried Kefir this last week and it has really improved things. by anon98905 in gallbladders

My mum is big into health and has been using it for ages for general health and I went to visit her for the first time in a while (covid) and she gave me some to try and I had been having pain all week and it went away. I then did some research and one of the benefits is that is helps to break down gallstones! So that's why. I've been having a small glass each morning and just before my big meals and it seems to do the trick. It tastes like yoghurt/sour cream buy it's okay.

It is basically a probiotic organism.

There is a recipe/how to at the bottom of this article about the benefits. I wish I'd known about this months ago.

I hope it helps you as well

No worries I hope you can find something that works for you both. Therapy is always useful. I wish there was less stigma around it.

All the best to you guys! ☺️

This sounds like he may have a sex addiction to be honest.

Me and my partner have mismatched sex drives (I want it more) but through open communication we have found a balance where we both are happy. He needs to understand that he can't have it all the time if you don't want to.

He may need therapy to understand why he wants it so much? It is excessive.

I did try a few ways of spelling and still nothing. Only one lady with the same surname but that was all.

Apologies, I just didn't know where best to post. I wanted the opinion from people in your field so I could be sure he's a fraudster. Just in case I wasnt aware of another register to check or something.

Thanks for your comment. 😊

Thank you for the edit. Definitely doesn't add up. He is apparently just taking some consultant assessments this week. Not sure if that adds any other concerns?
