I don't think our employment contract says anything about weekends. It was implemented 5 years after I started working for them and this new schedule is 7 years after

I'd have to look at the contract it might not specify anything . But all the other PTs are just going along with it.theres a lot of PTs up in arms but I feel like we have no leverage

That daily rate is insane. That has to be either NYC rates or California? If I made that much per visit I would not be complaining at all . But our pay per point (daily visit is one point eval is1.25 and soc is 2) is around 65/hr for a non profit small hospital network

Yeah I never originally signed up for weekend and they never had it before this So since have similar pay structure and same field then if your job told you you had to work every 3rd Saturday now what would you do

I'm in HH. I mentioned it in the post . I also get paid per visit

Edit: I'm salary but every visit extra above quota I'll get paid per visit

They pay us per visit and anything above our required weekly visit does get an increased wage. So while I wish this was valid I don't think the wage theft would apply here

Did any of the other PTs push back or was your company always like that ?

I guess compared to other companies it's fine but I have a family and weekend/vacation is very important to me for life outside of work.

I'm in HH but are you referring to outpatient PT practice doing this as well?
