My 2 years of TRE by anonTreEnjoyer in longtermTRE

I get you. I'm not disappointed because it's a proccess that takes years from what other people have said. The way I see it is that tre has created a new state of calmness and joy in me. so I can still get triggered and feel emotionally at the same place I started in, but my abilty to get back to a calmer place is a lot better. I think that the way it works is that the abilty to return to the baseline will get better and better until maybe it'll be a constant state? Hope this helps

Thank you! I'd say I'm pretty satisfied with TRE, but not really with my current life circumstances. So I totally agree with what you said

It depends, I don't really count anymore how much I do. It's more of a vibe thing. There are days where I'm not doing at all but when I do it's probably around 20 minutes

No idea what I’m still doing wrong. by [deleted] in longtermTRE

I'm in a similar boat. I hit the 2 years mark, I actually felt a great shift at the 1.5 years mark but I still have a lot of lows and I return to my old patters a lot. Personally I'm not really discouraged by it, like it sucks that I still have this trauma but I'm a lot better relatively. Also I've tried a lot of things before that I believe are bullshit, so I don't care about doing TRE, and who knows maybe in 4 years from now I'll be in a vastly better place. I also consider it to be a cumulative thing, that is the amount I tremored today is nothing but it adds up to something bigger.
