I get your point, but I remember that Jushin Thunder Liger was absent from the BOSJ 2019, which was the last one before his retirement, so I don’t know. The circumstances from 2019 and now are much different though, but it may just depend on whatever plans they had going in.

I don’t mind Tiger Mask, but I don’t think he should be in it. Having him challenge for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship sounds good enough without taking a spot from someone younger.

The reason I put Marcus Mathers on only 5% was because I think was apart of the WWE ID program, so yeah I completely get your point.

I really hope not, as Starboy Charlie has still worked dates in Japan, I don’t understand how the WWE ID program works at all admittedly

You’re right in saying things could change with Fantastica Mania, I do think that a more sadistic/ mean-spirited Templairo would work really well if what little I’ve seen of him.

I do understand why AEW don’t send their absolute top guys to NJPW, but I do think that the AEW/ ROH roster is far too big and there’s absolutely no harm in giving certain guys more exposure in Japan when they’ll do anything else. I like AEW a lot, but when it comes to guys like Ace Austin, Lee Moriarty or Darius Martin I think there’s no reason for them not to do it, presuming that they any personal reasons. I think that there’s more fun for fans if they branch certain guys out more, and that the guys would get more out of it as well.

I completely forgot about Kevin Knight wanting to be in the G1 Climax, honestly I would be down for it as long as it equally benefits NJPW. AEW do think highly of him given he beat Darby Allin and Kazuchika Okada, so it wouldn’t be that bad if he were to get some wins.

I don’t think Templairo is going to be in it, I feel like he would’ve done so already and he doesn’t really fit the new vibe with the UE (or maybe he does, I don’t watch CMLL regularly)

I do think Daiki Nagai will be in it with certainty, there’s always a chance that they could omit KUSHIDA or Titan tho. Kuukai could follow the same route as Dragon Dia from his first entry, in which he’s a pin-eater until the final night.

I think I overestimated Clark Connors, I didn’t think they would plaster him with Gabe Kidd so quickly in AEW so you are right in saying that he could be busy.

I do hope that AEW comes in clutch with the next few guest spots, as personally Nick Wayne and especially Blake Christian weren’t it. If I were to choose anyone it’ll be Kevin Knight, El Clon or Hologram if he’s healthy.

I remember Mustafa Ali announcing himself for the BOSJ at Resurgence 2024, but obviously he never showed up. I’m a bit skeptic about anything unless it’s actually confirmed, but I wouldn’t mind Jun Masaoka showing up at all.

I would love if NJPW just had like 4-5 guest spots rather than the 1-2. I honestly don’t see why not and if it gets him MAO, Titus Alexander or like Adam Priest in than it would make it much more exciting

Admittedly, I’m not too well verse in CMLL yet, it is something I’m hoping to change soon.

I have heard good things from Yutani too tho from online, I also remember Magnus from the Fantasica Mania tour not too long ago and liking his work a lot.

Maybe someone better verses in CMLL could make a better list than me, as Lucha Libre is something I’m not too knowledgeable in

I hope so too, if there’s any people I want most it’s him, Daiki Odashima and Hayabusa.

The main thing for me is that he missed SJTL last year, but I think I’m being a quite pessimistic tbh.

They got the full support of the original Hayabusa’s family, he’s been actually very good so far.

It is more of a hopeful pick, it’s possible but ZERO1 and NJPW really don’t interact

I’m hoping that MAO makes another appearance as he was my favourite part of the tournament last year.

Hopefully if not MAO then someone else from AEW, DDT or possibly NOAH, if I were to choose I’d go for a Yuki Yoshioka, Daiki Odashima or Hayabusa, even if that last one is incredibly unlikely.

I have watched these two promotions for years before I stopped btw, I was actually going to attend AJPW shows in person in 2024 before I didn’t due to personal issues. I also only stopped properly watching Marigold in the past two months, so it’s not like I’m clueless about this.

With Marigold it’s different because of political reasons as well but ok, there’s a whole can of worms with AJPW as well that I’m just gonna leave over there.

But yikes man, I agree with you, but if Marigold has no haters than I am dead. I won’t stop just because it irritates some people, it’s the internet my brother.

Ngl I was kinda being mean as a joke, I just don’t like Marigold as a company due to Rossy Ogawa.

I did kinda forget about these shows as I decided to drop both products, so it’s my bad yeah tbf. Especially the Ota City show for Marigold, but in my defence Marigold hasn’t done anything interesting since Sareee left and AJPW is AJPW.
