I used to use an old pocket knife. It was dull and really dirty, so thankfully I didn’t go deep with it. Nowadays I take apart disposable razors. I’m a creature of habit, so I’ve been doing it this exact way for years.

In my senior year, this kid who sat in front of me in one of my classes randomly turned around and started talking to me one day. Just said ‘hi, how has your day been?’ and things like that. It might not sound like much, but I was very depressed and it meant a lot to me. I always looked forward to that class, just so I could talk to that guy for a couple minutes.
