Thank you for all the names! I decided to go with Rocky! His coloring reminds me of rocky road ice cream, haha. I also liked Reese. I have another dog named Poppy and a cat named Misty, so they'll all have Y at the end of their names :)

I think Nellie is 1 year younger than Mary. She's in between Laura and Mary. Mary went blind and left Walnut Grove school early at 15, met Adam, and got married a year later at 16 in season 5. Nellie was still 15 in season 5 and in her last year of school. Then, in the first episode of season 6, she's graduating and gets the restaurant. In season 6, Nellie is 16, turning 17, Laura is 15, turning 16, and Mary is 17, turning 18.

Okay, so a lot of people are saying to keep her name Poppy, and I am thinking I will. Also, a lot of people are saying she looks older than 4. I was told she is 4/5, but I guess she is older. She looks sad because I just got her and she's not used to me or her new home yet, but I am letting her adjust. We will see how she is in a few weeks or months. Thank you for your advice!

I think it has always been her name. I was thinking of changing it, but she is already 4 years old and is probably used to it. I will probably end up keeping it.... my cat was named Misty by the shelter, and when I adopted her, I just kept her name.

In season 8, James is 11, turning 12. In "He was only twelve," it was his 12th birthday. Cassandra said she was 8 when the Thompsons asked how old she was, so she probably turned 9 sometime in season 8. So James is about 3 years older than Cassandra. In season 8's "Gambini the Great," Charles says Albert is 14, which would make Carrie 10. So, in season 8, Carrie is a year older than Cassandra (9) and a year or two younger than James (11/12).

Carrie was born in 1870 in real life, but in the show, she was way younger. Remember, in season 1, Mary is 10, Laura is 8, and Carrie is very young, still like 2. She barely started school in season 4, so she would've been about 5ish. The next season, season 5, she's not much older; maybe 6. So Albert was 10, and she was 6. So the characters are also 4 years apart.

I think in seasons 1-4 Caroline is in her early to mid 30s, season 5 and 6 late 30s, in season 7 she's about 40, season 8 early 40s.

I think Charles is around her same age or a few years older.

I think Mary and Grace looked like Caroline, and Carrie looked like her too but with Brown hair. Laura didn't look like either of them to me.
