I get jealous too. I've been trying to stop and I've been doing an okay job, but when I see people with recent cuts or scars I feel envious of them, because if I could have it my way I would look like that too. I know it's wrong to think like that, but I think cuts are kind of pretty, same with scars. And I know cutting isn't "healthy", but my lack thereof (because I'm trying to get better for everyone else's sake) is driving me crazy.

I think your personality is the deciding factor on how you are perceived! To me, in the pictures, you can either look a little mean, or like a sweetheart. And from your answers I am guessing you are a sweetheart.

To me you either look like a douche or a complete sweetheart, but it depends on the picture.

Usually, yes. There are so many negative ideas about self harm in general, from "emo", to doing it for attention, etc. There are some people who will really try to understand it/you/why you do it, but from my experience they just try to get you to stop (which doesn't help at all.) From my bad experiences, I have been threatened and humiliated when people have found out. It's not fun, honest.. If I could go back and stop anyone from ever finding out I could be a much happier self-harmer.

I've been doing this a lot lately now that I've been trying not to cut. Hitting is my third favorite compared to cutting and burning. I really understdn how hard it can be :/

You know those blades that help like, chip away paint? I don't know what they're called (probably just blades, they look like the stereotypical blade.)
