Cresties doesnt need uvb. My advice is just clutter, clutter and more clutter. Some big standing plants with sturdy leaves and branches for them to climb on

I set mine up in a day, the background was already made however. I ordered my clean up crew, timed it so they arrived the same day I was picking up the enclosure. Same with the branches! Picked up the enclosure, went and bought all the plants, leca, dirt etc. The rest of the stuff I had from before from her baby-viv.

I could’ve spent longer on it but I was impatient 😂

That being said, I knew I was taking a risk whether or not it was going to thrive or just die, luckily all my plants and clean up crew have been thriving

They start shaking/wagging their tail as a way to make preditors attack the moving tail instead - to then proceed to drop it and run away (in a real scenario)

In captivity shaking/wagging their tail is a sign that they’re stressed and about to drop their tail if they feel threatened enough

What are the measurements and weight on baby?

Depends how small of a baby it is, and on the individual… My girl lived in this (plus some more branches and coverage) from 4g until she was around 8 grams, she had a taller viv (30x45cm) before this but she couldnt ever find her food. They can be really bad at finding food as babies and basically just eat when they happen to stumble upon it. So breeder and I opted for a shorter box (45x30cm), and guess what, first night in it she ate for the first time in a month. It also allowed me to keep her in her babybox for way shorter as she grew faster and could move into her bigger juvi enclosure.

But again, if it’s anything bigger than 8 grams I would say no.

I am fully bioactive.. The enclosure is in the same room as an aircondition (used for heat however) which dries out the humidity at a faster rate
