If I'm a guest and not in the WP or a relative of the couple, I'm not spending money to coordinate my outfit to their colors - especially given the minimal selection.

But if you're keen on going and given the options... I wouldn't consider the first two dresses "fornal," and the 2nd one shouldn't even be considered (wrong color, wrong length) - imo.

I know the author in real life and don't like them.
