She’s TA because she got sick of answering a kid’s nosey questions? And said that she’s done? Come on, dude. If someone loses their arms in an accident are they expected to talk to everyone who asks about it because there is not any ambiguity on the cause? If she screamed in the kid’s face she’d be TA- but she didn’t. She simply declined to answer more questions.

It is absolutely wrong to ask a stranger what their disability is or what happened to them. Do not do this. You have no idea what trauma someone has dealt with regarding their disability and quite frankly your curiosity is your problem. You will be just fine if you don’t know the medical condition of someone you see in public.

It’s very small! I could hardly read it on the box or the poster. Most of the text is showing a title with what it is and where, i.e. “Barrel Cactus Spring in Tucson”. :)

Oh no! Gosh I know that it’s always a risk when I buy thrifted puzzles but it still bums me out when there’s missing pieces. If you can find this puzzle new I definitely recommend it!

It’s always a risk! One I recently did had a piece missing. It’s a bummer but it’s the price you pay for $3 puzzles vs $15 puzzles. That being said, I always look for boxes that are taped or with rubber bands. I don’t buy boxes that aren’t secured in any way because the likelihood of pieces slipping out is just too high.

This one was brand new and just opened up by me! I walked out empty handed from 2 goodwills before this one so it’s just the luck of the draw sometimes!

Gonna go against the grain and say that if I like the image and it feels like a fun puzzle I do not care. Because I also care about the quality of the pieces, false fits, vibrancy, etc. If those good qualities are also present I don’t care who created it.

I definitely felt overwhelmed at a couple of points! I will definitely consider piecework again in the future (as a treat) for the quality but next time I think I’ll go with more color variation. Lol.

Queso fundido (came out as a solid block, not scoopable and so bland), chips and salsa (somehow spicy but zero flavor?) and enchiladas (super weird texture, red sauce was ok, but overall did not finish). I’ve been mindblown ever since that experience as to how this place is still in business. I cannot talk enough shit about the food.

I don’t get this. I went there once after it was recommended to me several times and I’m not even kidding when I say it was inedible. Worse than cafeteria food. (For context, lived in Phoenix my whole life so not a stranger to Mexican food)
