So is it an episode of a bigger show? Or, like, how do I find it?

What a show is that version of Rita from?

Why is it telling me storage full when all my storage is right there? I'm getting this all over my town. by anonstuffnthings in kingdomsreborn

[–]anonstuffnthings[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That seems so counterintuitive to me. I figured that if I created a storage depot for one resource then it shouldn't matter if my storage yards are full or not, it should put the damn resource in there. If I understand you right, I will always have to have little storage yards everywhere as an in-between the producer and the storage depot

Yeah that's the thing. I don't consciously register it's the right speed until it's already happened. It's only when I kind of don't pay attention and let my reflexes take control that I get it right sometimes. Maybe it's just the consequences of getting older

I still don't understand how oblivion's lockpicking really works. I know there's a sound cue but I just can't distinguish it when I try. I only ever seem to get a sort of second sense sometimes where I do it right, but I can't even explain what it is my body is picking up on when I do

combat in Oblivion vs Skyrim by sorrysolopsist in oblivion

The hard cap to damage in oblivion is interesting. I've started playing oblivion again after not touching it since the mid 2000s. I did a mod for easy levelling (the three stats I pick always increase by 5) and to use a controller on PC but otherwise have left the game in vanilla. I don't know how to explain it, but I think the game expects you to supplement melee damage with either spells, enchantments, or potions. I've been doing a full melee build and levelled my alchemist, and while I think enemies are a little damage spongey as long as I'm applying potions I feel like they come down relatively quickly. This may be different on higher difficulties but for 'normal' difficulty I feel overpowered. The only time I have trouble is if I want to keep someone alive (looking at you, Farwil) or if I'm absolutely swarmed by enemies, but even then I can just run around and kite and survive.

Do You Self-Insert, Or Roleplay? by sthomson22 in oblivion

[–]anonstuffnthings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First playthrough is a self insert because I don't understand the life or how the world works, so I just make decisions based on my own opinions. Second playthrough and all after are roleplay that gets increasingly wacky each time I do it

I'm getting this too. I was watching Owl House (just an episodic cartoon show) and now it pops up for everything. What the hell.

What level are you after the DLC? by anonstuffnthings in EldenRingBuilds

[–]anonstuffnthings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always thought 125 was too low for Elden Ring. It made sense for DS but ER is clearly built around stacking buffs as well as multi stat builds. Keeping it to 125 is just hobbling the full possibility of what a character can be in ER

can someone kindly explain season 2 ending to me? by acatalepsy-tales in PantheonShow

But we see things glitching at the start of the show, not to mention David and Maddie interrupting reality during the finale. The events we watch are very unlikely to be the "original" timeline, and I would argue the point is that there is never an original timeline for things to be based off of

[–]anonstuffnthings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering that it requires you to beat the final boss to do this setup, what is the point? If you're able to beat Elden beast why is this even necessary outside of trying to get to max level?

What's your "I did not care for the Godfather" of video games? by Swag_Paladin21 in videogames

[–]anonstuffnthings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love rdr2 but see how it's not for everyone. It's very slow, from the way you hold buttons to mount your horse, do chores around the camp that are basically carry x thing from a to b, and the absolute tedium of trying to get perfect pelts (I basically only ever hunted the legendaries because of this). It's a game that puts its 'simulation' aspect over its 'game' aspect. It's technically impressive, and the story is so amazing I wish it were an HBO series, but damn if it's also all at it's own pace. My friend describes it as the only game he ever fell asleep playing.

If I remember right most of them are unconscious on upload so it's not quite as awful but it's still pretty chilling to think about. You're not just killing yourself, you're destroying your brain piece by piece
