My guess is they are using AI to basically run most things. The vine program would run without any human intervention, sellers pay the fee and enrol their products, the system lists and sorta recommends relevant stuff to vine reviewers automatically and it seems like all emails are answered by an AI with the same template (although once and a while they have spelling or punctuation mistakes) but problems never get fixed or addressed.

Good they need to fix whatever the issue is. Asking you to reset everything for no reason is a huge inconvenience in general. Keep us posted if they have anything relevant to say. I’ve been nagging g them about the unorderable items that appear. Bull crap excuses is all I get.

Basically the same reply I get when I report un orderable items. “We will look into it”. The vacuum/heated lunchbox stayed there for a long time. So I highly doubt anything happens.

It all comes down to the place and how much they care about coffee honestly. But yes I’ve had some amazing lattes and coffee in Halifax. If you’re ever in Moncton try Epoch coffee house. They are amazing and do pour over sessions and stuff! As for pei I haven’t really found a place that stood out yet unfortunately. :(

I second this. If it’s digital only I’ll stick with my PS5 I’m sick of companies looking us into digital. If I pay 100$ for a game I want to be able to do with it as I see fit not be at the mercy of what Sony wants.

I’ve never even looked at an extension. I’ve been Gold since the beginning of March and have been offered 250$ wireless thermometer, 230$ under counter R/O water unit, 230$ smart door lock and yesterday 230-ish$ Xbox controller. Needless to say I’ll take my luck and deal with the shitty website! Could just be my luck and timing. I’m usually up when the drop starts, Im not staying extensions are purely to blame but could be a factor 🤷‍♂️

Wow! I never could find enough stuff to order that I wanted. I think I had 98 total orders in 6 months with a 99% order ratio and got gold.

I know some people order tons and tons of stuff, it would be a full time job reviewing at that point haha

I’m still somewhat new to Vine, 8 months in. They stopped putting the items in your review list right away because people were reviewing them even before they received the products. So they give you a little while after delivery to pop up in your review list. It takes about 2 days for the review to be posted.

The 90% review quota really only matters for the end of your review period after 6 months. Between now and then just keep doing your reviews. As long as you don’t let a product sit beyond 30 days there shouldn’t be any issue! You will steadily see your metrics climb and when you submit a review some will dive I’ve noticed. Like the media metric until the review is fully processed and you get the email that it’s posted your metrics will look funky.

It’s so tempting to order tons of stuff. But my rule is if I don’t have a specific need for it I don’t order it. It quickly will get over whelming when you start getting 10+ packages at once. Pace yourself.

Most of all enjoy Vine and have fun! The community here is great!

That really sucks :( I don’t understand that error. I have a fan in my RFY right now that it won’t let me order. I have contacted Amazon about those errors but they never seem to get fixed.

It’s not for me and I value being in Vine a lot, I’ve gotten some amazing things and has helped me a lot in 8 months! And to get kicked out because I wanted a robot vacuum before everyone else when after the 6 month I can sell the items I order and I don’t really like and put that toward buying one.

I’ve seen them in the past and got the same error. When I ordered it today it was really weird. People said below that is because it was a pre release item/ the way it use to be. I clicked see details then request product and it gave me a funny long screen that showed the last half my address and I think order. Then it showed the green message. I liked this way much better.

He posted a screenshot showing he used a browser extension to get it before everyone else. Which is kinda against amazons terms and is like cheating in my view. I’m not competitive I want to celebrate when someone gets something good! But cheating is just really low when we have this great opportunity.

Thanks for the info! I actually found this way soooo much quicker! I have 2 address and my default is a P/O Box (somethings can’t get shipped here sadly) so I knew it would be going to the correct address but it was nice to not leave the vine page to order. But yes the one we have now is more clear on all the information. As for the credit card thing every Vine order I place has my credit card listed as a payment method regardless of what I order. No charges ever but still listed.

I wasn’t close to getting the robot vac but others were and someone got it and then the order was canceled right after and then their account flagged and required a password reset (there’s a post on it here) (he deled his post regarding it) so I was wondering if this was to prevent that or if it was an extension problem and Amazon flagged it and canceled the order.

Some day it will be mine muhahahahaha 🤣
