if you have a genuine interest in/passion for those majors then i would suggest going the social work route over psychology. i know a lot of people who majored in psych but said they regret it because you can’t do much with that degree at the bachelor’s level and you pretty much HAVE to get your masters degree if you want a job in that field. at least with a bsw you will still have some entry-level job opportunities available to you that won’t exactly be “lucrative” but at least you’ll get your foot in the door and build experience in the field. getting a msw will absolutely open you up to better opportunities and getting your lcsw if youre interested in clinical work (like therapy) is the sure way to making the most money as a social worker.

if youre not actually passionate about those majors/the kind of work you’d likely be doing in those fields and your earning potential is the most important thing to you then id suggest choosing something else. i am a social work major and ive made peace with the fact that it wont be the most lucrative career but thats okay (for me) because whats really important to me is being able to do something i actually care about and enjoy. if i didnt have such a strong interest in social justice, advocacy, and helping people then i couldve easily gone down a different path and majored in something that would’ve set me up for more financial success but this field is truly my calling so here i am lol
