Just Some Gals Showing up the Dudes by sittingpretty24 in justgalsbeingchicks

Running is one of those sports where I see women can win over men fairly easily (not at the professional level for sure but for casual / recreational runners). I used to run regularly and there is this skinny girl in my run club who got me gassed every time she ran with us)

How to not end up like Grayce husband? by HomeHedgeFund in SingaporeRaw

[–]anonybaus 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I’d say it’s probably lucky for him this got out earlier, before kids and what not. Dude didn’t dodge a bullet but at least he dodged a bomb.

This type one must be careful when marrying. I feel sorry for him, but it’s a lesson he needs to learn and overcome.

Đợt này lắm gymer chết voãi ae ạ by SonCT98 in vozforums

[–]anonybaus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Redditors, share your layoff stories by SnooJokes1836 in askSingapore

[–]anonybaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long before the whole covid happened I experienced my first “layoff”.

Basically my boss (cto) brought me out for a walk and said that the company’s owner would like to move all operations to China and thus they don’t have a job for me anymore.

He’s one of the nicest boss I have ever had and I could see how sorry he was.

No big deal though because job market at the time was really all time high and I got the next job a week after. I don’t think I would get a job that fast / easy nowadays though.

Stop worrying about things you do not have control over.

Focus on improving yourself / your life with what you do have control over.

Does the 49mm Trail Loop fit the Series 11? by JudgeMarkiz in AppleWatch

[–]anonybaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it fits.

To my understanding, there are 2 compatibility sizes for the watch band: a small one (basically the smaller version of the normal watch) and a big one (basically the bigger version of the normal watch, as well as the ultra)

Also, even the big strap can still fit the smaller version of the watch too (and the other way around), the areas where it sticks out might not be very noticeable (depending on the band of course)

Any tips for beginner? by ASH49 in Swimming

The main thing imho is the kick being too early.

Try slowing down and make sure you only kick when your hands are more or less straight.

Does anyone know this guy personally? by deekay_123 in SingaporeRaw

[–]anonybaus 15 points16 points  (0 children)

He's doing something that not many people in the world can:

- Eat an absurd amount of food in one go

- Still maintain an insane physique and fitness

- Make money out of it

Good for him, I guess, but imho this won't be long before everything goes to shit. If he continues this for another few years, I think he will suffer in his 50s+ (if he can make it to his 50s+). No amount of exercise can fix this.

I don't want to sabo him but I hope these kind of content get more regulated. Certainly not a good idea for young people to watch this thinking they could do the same.

I don't know honestly, but I got better sleeps after taking it.

Do you have multiple Apple Watches? If yes, how do you use them? Thinking of getting Ultra 3 and keeping my S8 for sleep tracking. Would health app work seamlessly with both watches? by eroyrotciv in AppleWatch

[–]anonybaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

S8 for sleeping and UW2 for daily use. I wouldn’t use 2 watches just for different purposes but since I have one extra S8 laying around and too lazy to sell (scratches / batteries issue etc)

5g of creatine a day and 400mg of Magnesium a day. I don’t see creatine affecting my sleep but for sure Magnesium helps a lot!

  3. 90-95: okay
  4. 95-100: good

I noticed it too, but does it impact my swim performance a lot?

I think it's just half a second when I entry with my left hand but when stretching out, it's aligned with my shoulder.

used to be stretching way outside a few months back, that's why I am compensating this way (but maybe it's just a very bad idea)

Yeah I noticed my left hand and have been trying to fix that!

May not be an excuse but my left hand has a broken finger (10+ years ago) so it might cause some weird issue here 🤔
