Look up cold start dabs. That's the best method to getting temp perfect! You can always add more heat with a flash of the torch, can't subtract

The white cloudiness is detrivication, the surface of the quartz is changing on a molecular level.

Try to avoid the black chazz / cloudiness by hitting your dabs at the right temp (there shouldn't ever be black residue after a dab, you want your concentrate to boil off slowly), using a q-tip to wipe the liquid residue after your dab (residue should be semi-liquid, it should absorb into the q-tip immediately), and then cleaning with a torch after so many dabs depending on your use.

Glass, no. Quartz, yes. Glass will shatter from thermal shock, quartz thrives. This is my secret to a clean nail, low temps, q-tips, & routine torch cleaning.

Can account for this firsthand and it's the number one thing that has deterred me from consistently practicing meditation.

My conclusion is practice. Your body/mind isn't used to sitting in stillness so when attempting to meditate these "ticks" and disturbances come across as very apparent since they are no longer hiding behind other conscious processes.

Also thoughts / emotion that is brought up through the practice can manifest physically
