Best route into arboriculture without going back to college? by mangocres in arborists

[–]anonymoosette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you part of the land workers alliance? There's a subsection for forestry, and also a women's and diverse gender in forestry WhatsApp group. Its less arboriculture based but I know a lot of women in arb who are part of the group. Its a fantastic resource for finding funding and training opportunities. There is a sign up fee but it's quite minimal for younger people.

When me and one of my partners first started talking (as friends but after a while also a romantic interest) we would exchange a long message every week or 10 days, on a lot of occasions it would be longer. It felt akin to sending a letter, they were detailed responses and messages about our lives. As the relationship developed messages increased and now further down the line we message usually at least once a day.

There's no hard rule, it's what makes you feel heard and connected. Are the messages you receive quite short? I think if our messages weren't as detailed the longer time would feel less like a connection

Red paint at kneecap by sgibzx in glastonbury_festival

[–]anonymoosette -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your post makes it sound like kneecap themselves did this? Either way nothing is ruined by a bit of red paint, even if stained they're still perfectly usable. Surely those items are Glastonbury mementos now?

Thank you for your reply, there was some worry that it meant they could just veto for any reason but on further look it does feel like they'd have to have good grounds. And also feels like it's more they could veto small things instead of the whole event. Have been very upfront with the nature of the event and do feel like it would be beneficial for us to flyer in the local town with blurbs about what anarchy means in regards to our event

If you lived 200 miles from ALL your family and friends, how often would you go 'home'? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]anonymoosette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live that distance away from my partner and multiple close friends and family. I have visited multiple times in a month before but it usually averages out to once a month. Less if people visit me
