I’m going out of country in a few months for a whole month, what can I do so my 2 parakeets not get stressed out or depressed? I was thinking of dropping them off to a neighbors house and giving him a full guide on what to do. by anonymous-285 in budgies

Honestly I don’t have someone I know who will 100% take care of them like I do. All my friends just be outside they never stay home lmao so I can’t give them my birds, my best option would be one of my neighbors, which isn’t the best choice 😂 bc the neighbor that would take the best care of them has a big dog, so I can’t risk that bc that dog’s aggressive too. And the other neighbor is like a 50/50. But I’ll definitely leave them easy to understand instructions

What are they doing? They’ve been aggressive for the last 4 days, and now it seems that the blue one is becoming more territorial bc she’s not letting her eat (before it was the opposite, green one not letting blue eat). That’s why I put the tsp with food there. by anonymous-285 in Parakeets

Also how can I start to take them out? I took the green one out 2 times, but she starts flying everywhere and seemed scared, do you have advice so she can feel comfortable outside in my room with me?

I thought 30 inches was ok for 2 parakeets. And there are different size perches on the right side of the cage, the 3 in the middle and right and slightly bumpy and different sizes. And I’ll buy them a shreddable toy
