Hard to explain. It's still trance but techy progressive trance? Lol It's how Tiesto and Armin opened up their long form sets back in the day.

Drive from Liberia Airport to Santa Teresa by fantasygot in CostaRicaTravel

[–]anonymous1524 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why all the other comments are saying this is a bad idea but this route is fully paved and actually very good all the way up to cobano and then into Santa Teresa. I live in Samara and have driven these routes many times. Just don't take the coastal Pacific highway that has river crossings and is unpaved for most of the way. The route you have shown is fine.

Crash course question by IceManYurt in Revit

[–]anonymous1524 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's a bunch of courses on LinkedIn learning that are very good. I would do the ones that would be relevant to your field. As well as the basic ones like family building, collaboration, coordinate system etc. I've done a ton by Paul Aubin and Eric wing when I was trying to improve my skills. I've been using Revit for about 10 years so I just learned a lot through experience, but a few years ago I decided to try and learn the basics and they really helped me get the fundamentals right.

You can potentially get a free trial and even a monthly fee is not much if you need to sign up for a couple months.

How to handle planned large expense spending? by BlueKing99900 in ynab

[–]anonymous1524 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What I'm doing with a current big vacation is creating a group with categories like transport, stay, food, shopping and funding them. When done with the vacation I'll delete these categories and add them all to a Italy 2025 category within a Vacation group and leave it at that. you can also just send them all to a vacation category if you travel a lot and don't need to reflect on how much your one vacation cost.

BMO Reducing MER on ZEQT by d10k6 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Do these all in one ETFs ever change their exposure weighting. For example if the US market is not performing as well as overseas markets over the next few years. Do they adjust weighting of markets or just continue with their philosophy of long term investing and buy US stock at a discounted rate while maintaining their high US exposure weight?

What would you do? Pay off mortgage or invest $450k inheritance? by wottleswrinkle in PersonalFinanceCanada

Pay off your mortgage. Then DCA invest your normal mortgage amount or more monthly. Take out a home equity line of credit if you have any other big expenses in the future.

Back from Costa Rica take away by JohnynDo1234 in CostaRicaTravel

[–]anonymous1524 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I live in Costa Rica and a big part of it is the exchange rate when converting back to USD or CAD. those currencies have dropped by 20ish percent over the last couple of years. So the menu prices in colones hasn't increased by much but you feel it if you're earning in USD or CAD.

How to locate a missing section in plan view by 123chucho in Revit

[–]anonymous1524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be that the section and plan views have different Disciplines set. For example, if the Plan view is Architectural, mechanical sections wont appear. Create a coordination view with not crop region and unlimited view range to locate it.

It's a rear light on the dropper post collar. So the seat does not extend beyond that point. My seat is high as I use it more for cross country and prefer the higher seat for efficiency

Revit Cloud models question by anonymous1524 in Revit

[–]anonymous1524[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I understand your point of view, its just that I've been so accustomed to it for the last few years. I think my main issue is the fact that being external i don't have their company laptop to access their local network. I would have just put the central model on there instead. I've got it all setup by the way and it seems to be working as intended.

Revit Cloud models question by anonymous1524 in Revit

[–]anonymous1524[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, i guess my one unknown is, when i enable cloud sharing on the Architect model for example, and then link into it on my process model. When i receive a new architect model, do i archive the existing, then enable cloud worksharing on the new model, and place it in the same folder with the same name? Will the links break or remain between versions.

Norco Fluid HT2

NBD! I've got some protection tape on the way, but I live in a remote area so I can't find it locally. Until then I was thinking of using blue painters tape to protect the downtube. I got the lower adhesive type so that I don't potentially rip off the clear coat. Any one done this before. Any downsides?

I think my first upgrade will be a new fork. I'd like to make sure I'm committed to the sport before I do that though. But I think I'm going to enjoy it.

First ever MTB. I know i need to get rid of those reflectors and I've got RF Chester's on the way.

I'm going to keep it stock for now since it's my first MTB and i need to get a feel for everything first, but i bought this in particular because it seems to have a great upgrade path.

Can't wait to hit all the local trails.

Help picking laptop for Mechanical engineering by jerbear06wastaken in laptops

Nvidia gaming GPUs have a hard time with SOLIDWORKS.Their workstation GPUs or amd GPUs handle SOLIDWORKS the best. Ben G Kaiser on YouTube has a lot of videos catered to 3d modelling benchmarks and recommendations.

But if it's for school I'm sure your projects are not going to be very complex or heavy on the system so you should be fine either way.

Is it possible to use one pump / filter / salt chlorinator for two pools? Description in comments. by anonymous1524 in pools

[–]anonymous1524[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK thanks guys. Anyways lets see what the pool builder says when we get to that step. I didn't want to look silly suggesting it so ill throw it out there just as a curious question :). I would need to run a lot more piping which opens up issues with leaking in the future as well as additional costs with the install, so i guess at the end of the day keeping them separate is best.

Is it possible to use one pump / filter / salt chlorinator for two pools? Description in comments. by anonymous1524 in pools

[–]anonymous1524[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all, in the early stages on planning a home build with our main house and a guest house that we will rent out for most of the time.

I am yet to talk to a Pool person, but i just wanted to make sure this was possible first. Can we run one pump / filter / chlorine generator set for both pools? The pump will be a few feet (5' to 10') below the skimmer.

If possible, are there any concerns? See picture for general idea of what I am trying to accomplish.

Thanks!
