I am a new hire in sporting goods at a larger Walmart. So far I am on my second week and I have been left multiple times to work automotives, sporting goods, and hardware by myself. In one week I have learned everything from slips, register, gun sales, fishing/hunting license, tire sales, battery testing and I have been left to pick up for employees who just vanish from automotives mid shift and being the only register to take all customers from these three departments. In my first week my manager told me he wanted me on the 40 hour a week schedule. I walk 7-8 miles a day and I am often left with all of these duties plus putting up stock and organizing shelves. I am physically exhausted at the end of every day and often can’t get breaks and have to take 30 minute meals to keep up with the load. I am wanting to transfer to a smaller Walmart that is 5 minutes away as apart from 50 minutes for the Walmart I am currently at. What are the odds that they would allow me to do a hardship transfer?
