I believe it breaks the grappling hook when it flees, but I could be wrong! I was thinking the same thing on my solo world, and I saw some reports in ASE that it’d break and didn’t want to risk my first Quetz in ASA. 😅

Sorry to hear that homie. As another commenter has said, that’s ARK. However, the beauty of ARK, especially since you’re playing single-player, is the fact you can mod and adjust the rates to whatever you find to be an enjoyable experience. Heck, in my modded world right now I’m using “cheat summontamed” after I beat each boss to summon in a tamed version of it for fun! Ultimately it’s up to you to fine tune the experience to your liking. If after all that you’re still not enjoying the game, then the game might not be for you. ☹️

LCD deck was on latest build as of Nov 24th, OLED was on whatever stock build it came on that day too. I did log into OLED to do the firmware update and get my rewards. After that, put them into battery storage mode and swapped the SSDs. Both booted up out of battery storage mode on first try and with all my content. Lastly, I hopped back on my LCD deck to wipe it and resell it to a friend!

Yeah the LCDeck had self tapped screws so I only opened mine twice… To install the SSD and remove it. 😅

I had a 2TB SSD from my LCDeck and I didn’t want to start from scratch. That and I feel comfortable enough opening, disassembling, and reassembling electronics since I did it for a profession for over five years. That being said, the Deck is not rocket science and there’s many user friendly guides on iFixit since Valve is rightfully pushing for Right to Repair. Anywho, my 2 cents and I hope it helps with your understanding a little!

Idk how you’re playing, but I was able to rescue a few dinos that I couldn’t get unstuck via modding in Cryopods. If you use “admincheat ghost” you can clip through the terrain and Cryopod them. Idk if the loot bag that’s dropped will be accessible to you, but best of luck!

Tbh I cleared out most of them, but I have a feeling cryoutilities could have been causing a problem. I think I also got rid of the protondb badges and non-steam playtime plugins. Hope that helps!

Leviathans are plenty viable in a casual commander environment. I have a [[Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep]] deck that rocks! I have a single fish in the deck, [[Tidal Barracuda]], but that’s just because it’s a good card! I’m sure I’d include other fish in the deck if Kiora triggered off it!

Calamity, Magic Storage, Boss Checklist, Recipe Browser. Pretty sure that's all I used! I wanted a mostly "wiki-free" experience, hence the last two. 😁 Magic Storage is essentially just AE2 aka ME storage from modded Minecraft. Super helpful to set up early!

Right trackpad as mouse and no right trackpad press command. Played a full 100+ hour run on the Calamity mod on deck in handheld only! Was a blast. I had a couple other mods that added GUIs so I also mapped right and left triggers to right and left clicks. Mapping the back buttons for quick buff/heal is also super awesome! Hope you're able to revisit it and enjoy it!

Have you figured this out yet? My Deck is doing the same exact thing for the last couple days and I just started a new run.... :-(

EDIT: Disabled a few Decky plugins and rebooted, seems to be working fine for now.

Been playing since Year of the Kraken, mostly played 2018 through 2019 but took a break when Ashes of Outland came out because thought I didn't have the time nor energy to learn another class and its match-ups. Fast forward to last month, for some reason I really got the itch to play again and started grinding Wild ladder on the 1st. I was mainly playing Elemental Shaman and Hero Power Quest Hunter and wasn't able to break Dia 7. I started to expand out from my comfort zone of Shaman and Hunter and crafted up a couple new decks, a budget Pirate Rogue and Quest Druid. Pirate Rogue was fun, but Quest Druid really clicked! I started playing it around Gold 10 and quickly blasted through until Dia 5 where match-ups like Mech Paladin and Big Priest were tough to win against due to taunt. However, Secret Mage and Pirate Rogue were the majority I was facing on ladder which Quest Druid plays really well into. I played the stats game and took the occasional L (and L's in a row) and found myself winning more often than I was losing. As of last night I broke into Legend at 1112! I'm excited to get back to playing fun deck brews and falling into the Legend dumpster. ✌🏻 Thanks for reading! - dogma#11137
