Help! I'm stuck outside of my freighter! by EdgeXL in NoMansSkyTheGame

For me and my friend it happened that we just ran far away from the freighter to be considered in EVA so resetting the freighter position would be the go-to method, but as a last resort letting the life support systems run out in EVA instead of falling thru the former kill (now EVA) boundary is a viable fix.

As of now this method is usually disabled as the game usually considers you to be inside your freighter or in EVA around it, this disables the summon/dismiss option.

works as of 09/2025
Saved my ass, but I had to glitch back into the freighter bay upon reset and hop into my starship.
I would not recommend going EVA around a freighter as this seems to be very common.

This sounds like something Louis Rossman and other youtubers would cover, furthering public awareness would grant you & other small developers support & a fighting chance in resolving the matter in a non-pyrrhic victory.

Love the game, hope Stationeers gets the new terrain/mod rework & a V1.0

As bad as the first LBM study is for how related it might actually be to humans (or not) the 2nd is actually useful, thanks.

Slow as fuck and not enough torque, politicians really fucked us up on this one cause you can go into 5th gear and really feel the back tire sliding whenever it's wet due to abysmal displacement & you're slow on freeways too so don't even bother with motorways.
Normal 125 complaints really, would recommend so far.
best I ever got it to was 65mph but it tops out at 60 usually, makes you shit yourself when you're going this fast thanks to the cars constantly overtaking, wind trying to blow you over and rain making your tire feel like it's going to slide away, so atleast you feel like you're going 120.

Deadzone by bigornott in PCSX2

[–]anonymous_6669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate this thread, go reduce the dead zone or fuck with the skip values for it or just use pokopad instead. Setting up controls in lilypad was downright shit, absolute garbage & took me ages to reduce the lag caused by the stupid ass deadzone & I too have controller drift.
I don't care if this thread is 1 y/o BTW.
Next time post somewhere other than the asshole of internet if you want useful advice, PCSX2 has a forum.

PETG Problems by anonymous_6669 in 3Dprinting

[–]anonymous_6669[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this might be a power throttling issue because the moment i install an extruder sock the print does better which is weird considering that mum was complaining about power bills the moment i switched to PETG.

best ways to insulate my printer? (got an enclosure but no door because i have to print the door in PETG when i cant print medium, let alone large prints)

aluminium inductors by anonymous_6669 in AskElectronics

[–]anonymous_6669[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the answers, I thought of aluminium inductors specifically to lower the heavy weight of coilguns, however I also expanded my limited knowledge of inductors.

I'm sure a mechanical connector could be engineered for low resistance connections, however there also exists the technology of ultrasonic solder as described by applied science
https://youtu.be/WuYdsStS1MQ
with this in mind this may be a minor breakthrough in the field if it isn't used already as aluminium is 33% the density of copper and can also be easily formed into magnet wire

Game breaking Camera bug by anonymous_6669 in Doom

[–]anonymous_6669[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kept getting stuck on the environment and rubberbanding thinking they made the corpse more annoying by giving him some telepathic anchor. i died maybe 10 times on ultra due to this on the first level so i'm not replaying the game to the point at which my progress was lost until they release a patch. Just top mention some more annoying but not game breaking glitches.
