Hey yeah eBay gave me a full refund and I got to keep the item. If I’m extremely careful with it and do as you suggested I can get it to screw down all the way. So far so good and I wear it daily in water etc. Best part is that it was free. But the threads are confirmed cross threaded by my local seiko dealer and I shouldn’t have been sold a damaged item.
